Walked in and immediately greeted with someone banging the door down in the gents This wasnt a one off and happened a few times including a fight Clear its full of drugs both in the gents and on the carpark Not sure who the arrogant guy is who works their with the cap but he's unprofessional and ironically didn't get involved with the gent incidents Shame because the decor is nice and they had a good singer on so potential to be a nice pub Review edited to respond Its not untrue as you've confirmed yourself that there was an incident so please dont paint my review to be lies. It was also uncomfortable listening to you both argue. The guy I was with was a moron for vaping and stopped once asked, however it would have been better for the guy to come over rather than slagging us off for 10mins. He also served another couple and when we went to the bar minutes later we were asked what did we want and that last orders was 20mins ago...

Nice to see the new managers settling in, only a couple of weeks in and already you can see they are making a difference. It's got that proper traditional family pub feel again. clean, welcoming, and friendly staff. Ended up staying for one more than I planned… always a good sign! looking forward to our next visit.
We've seen a lot of changes here at the Roebuck over the last 20 yrs as a customer and living in the Penn area, some the most loyal customers and closest friends I've ever met have been from here of all ages and religions. Yet again we have been lucky! The new management and team have come in with a great family attitude, service with a smile, taking time out to get to know their customers going above and beyond to accommodate customers requirements and with positive direction for the future of the Roebuck keeping that strong family atmosphere the Roebuck Pub as had for decades with some amazing landlords. we would like to wish Leah, Adam and family all the best with the Roebuck and welcome to the family.
Such a wonderfully warm and welcoming pub. We have been coming here on and off for 10 years now, but recently have made it more of our regular local. We celebrate my Birthday in there last night and I was made to feel so welcome. Even had a few on the house birthday drinks from the staff. I made sure they had slices of my birthday cake! Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful evening xxx
Only started going in over the past few months. Staff welcoming and friendly. A nice change of decor following a refurbishment and the clock is something to behold. Good selection of premium beers at a reasonable price. I have not had the chance to try the food as yet but will be trying it in the near future. Have quite happily recommended to others.
A decent pint. Nice aesthetics. Good company. Good staff. Food is a bit lacking in terms of menus and options. But aside from that can't knock it at all. Probably the only decent pub on the penn Road.
Very friendly atmosphere and excellent food Sarah and Chris are the perfect hosts also very dog friendly ! Have lived round here for many years but didn’t like this pub but NOW you can’t keep us out love it !!
