I visited The Firs recently and was genuinely impressed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the mixed grill, and it was full of flavour, well-cooked, and served in generous portions. You can really tell they care about quality. The menu has a great variety, especially if you enjoy Desi-style grills and curries. Everything came out fresh and hot. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Service was quick and smooth, even though it was fairly busy. They made sure we were looked after the whole time. Overall, The Firs is a brilliant spot whether you’re out for food, drinks, or just a relaxed evening. I’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommended!

Lovely food which is reasonably priced as is the price of a pint. There's sky sports shown on plenty of televisions around the pub. There's plenty of space as well as a large patio with seating outside. Good variation of food on the menu too Worth a visit

So we used this place as a recommendation from a colleague. We had the mixed grill and a couple of curries. The only feedback I would give would be to increase the portion size of the curries. They were on the small side. The food was pretty good. I would certainly have the mixed grill again. The beer (Caffrey's) was a bit of a poor pour, but drinkable. A good bar and grill overall.

My brother has been raving on about The Firs for quite sometime and yesterday 7 of us got together for drinks and food. Excellent beers, food and service. This place has a fantastic family atmosphere where everyone was chilled and having a good time. The mixed grill veg and non veg were both good portions and price points. The poppadoms with chutneys were ace as were the mains of Lamb keema, Lamb bhuna and Chicken Sharabi accompanied by Garlic naans. One of my brothers had the veg options of Butter Soya Masala which was absolutely amazing 10/10 what a flavorsome dish! My only negative feedback which is a strong suggestion to improve on the size of the mains dish bowls which in my experience across many mixed grill desi pubs were far too small especially at a £10-£13 price point. I will look to revisit again no doubt - keep up the great work!

The meal overall was very good. Mys husbands burgers were a little over cooked which ruined his meal a little, however my son and daughter enjoyed their meals as did I. The price of the food is very good. Yes we would recommend and will return for dinner in the near future.
