   I'd not visited in over 20yrs, I booked a table for my father's birthday as it's close to him and overall convenient for both of us. Upon walking in we were pleasantly treated by a hostess who was friendly, courteous and helpful, despite being early we were seated straight away. My steak was perfect, one of the better I've had over recent years, my father and my wife both opted for the steak pie which they both enjoyed immensely. There was a little confusion with the desert order which I put down to miscommunication on my part, everything arrived in good time and was tasty. Not the cheapest of places but that's reflected in the quality. My only negative although the sign in the men's toilet was humourous, the place had a smell reminiscent of a it no biggy I'm in and out but I felt full disclosure worth mentioning.

   Really nice atmosphere. We visited on a whim as we had a 40% voucher and I'd already had a steak previously which had been delicious so ordered again. The gentleman serving was very pleasant and friendly. The steak is DIVINE and beautifully cooked. Perfect amount & a good drink (orange and lemonade). The seating was very comfy and the lighting pleasant and warm. However, it was a little loud at times although thankfully there was no music. Being able to bring our dog Mysti was a bonus. Thank you!

   Amazing service as always, so polite and positive approach to the customer. The kitchen staff is incredible, so professional, the food (top steaks and burgers) was super delicious. The environment is friendly, family and cosy. The Old fellows is our family choice for any special occasions such as weddings, birthday celebrations.

   The staff here are incredibly friendly and genuinely kind—some of the best you’ll ever meet. I visited a year ago and came back to the same great experience. The person who served us went above and beyond to accommodate my allergies, helping me use the allergy filter on their website and coordinating closely with the kitchen. I truly felt cared for, and I’ll definitely be returning whenever I’m in the area

   Visiting during lunch time and I had set lunchtime menu. There is not a great deal of choice. I would have liked salmon as an option. Two staff members working and they were very busy, but extremely friendly and helpful.

   Staff were friendly and accommodating. Sunday lunch was a mixed review. Red cabbage was sweet which we didn’t feel worked, however that was a personal opinion. The carrots and parsnips were virtually raw. We did feedback and the staff were really good about it. Dessert was excellent. We’d go back due to the excellent staff and their approach.

   Booked a last minute meal tonight. All the staff and meals were fantastic. We came on steak night and it was the best steak we’ve had in long time. Thank you so much for bringing out the birthday cake we had bought along with us, and extra plates etc for it. Would highly recommend.

Staff and customer service excellent in a clean and pleasant bar/restaurant Recommended visit for all they even have a dog barrel of water outside Ross table waiting knowledgable and advisable Very pleasant apart from swearing audible from other side of room
