   Had chicken pox from this dental surgery. And before you think I could of got it from some where else. I have been home for the past 2 weeks. I have not been out anywhere. I went to the dentist. And 24 hours later I am coming down with a bad case of chicken pox. My doctor agrees it has to be the dentist surgery that I got them. My appointment was on the 16th October 2025 at 3pm. I am now suffering at home with bad chicken pox not being able to go near my baby or hold him. I have to wait for over 2 weeks to be able to go near him or hold him! I am very unhappy about this!! It should be more hygienic there! I will be reporting it to health and safety standards!! EDITED. - UPDATED ON TUE 28TH OCTOBER 2025. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT BOOKED FOR 31ST OCTOBER. THEY HAVE CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW. I CALLED THEM TODAY TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT MY APPOINTMENT. AND THEY TELL ME ITS BEEN CANCELLED AND THAT I AM BEING KICKED OF THE DENTIST. I QUESTIONED WHY AND THEY SAID BECAUSE I WAS TOO HONEST IN MY REVIEW ABOUT THERE DENTIST. IT DEFINITELY NEEDS A HYGIENE CHECK. IT STINKS OF MOULD AS SOON AS YOU WALK IN. IT DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE CHECKED OVER. THE PLACE IS FILTHY. THE STAFF ARE RUDE. THE ONLY REASON I STAYED THERE FOR SO LONG WAS BECAUSE I NEEDED MY TEETH FIXED. IT IS DEFINITELY THE WORST PLACE TO GO TO.

   Round of applause to my sons orthodontist. As an SEN parent, I think we're used to Health Care professionals who just don't understand our kids. So, I feel like I need to shout from the rooftops how amazing Dr Naz is with my son. She's patient and aware of his communication and sensory issues. She adjusts things to suit him and is doing things at a slow and steady rate, so that he has time to adjust.

   Edit to say still really happy with the services! We are now in the process of moving dentists for the whole family!! Happy with reception/other staff we come across as well!! We’ve been using Dr Naz now for a while for my son’s braces. The level of care and compassion Dr Naz and the other person who sees my son is outstanding. Dr Naz always has a smile on her face, she understands my son and just oozes of friendliness. My son doesn’t usually like the dentist but happily goes in to see Dr Naz. Finding someone to understand my boy who is set in his ways is hard work but Dr Naz does it with ease. Even when things haven’t improved as much we had hoped she guides but doesn’t dictate or moan which is half the battle. I would 100% recommend this practice for braces especially for children on the ASD spectrum. Thank you Dr Naz. Not only for helping my boy but improving his confidence. My son also says thanks ♥️

   I am a horrifically nervous patient at the dentist, but I cannot praise or recommend the goldthorn dental practice team highly enough for their excellent care. I recently needed a dental extraction and was able to have this done under sedation, something I would highly recommend for other nervous souls. I was cared for so well during the whole process and have recovered without any issues. The dentist and team were fabulous throughout.

   Went to this dentist for the first time this morning. The dentist was brilliant listened to what I had to say. Explained everything clearly. Had treatment was treated with respect. And the nurse was lovely. I'm not the best patient but the dentist made me feel relaxed. Thanks.

   Horrible! Very disappointed! Its been recommended to me by a coleague as a good dental practice but it is obviously not. If you are a new patient you have no chance to be seen by a dentist at all. They don't give you an appointment option. Just tell you to call after a month because they are fully booked. What is the guarantee when you call at the end of the month that there will be appointments available then? This can go on forever and you will never get the opportunity to get your theeth repaired. No matter if its urgent or not, if you are not an existing patient you don't have a chance! Poor receptionist behaviour, very rude!

   I called the practise as a new patient and asked to speak with the practise manager as I am a very nervous patient. I found the staff to be very pleasant and professional and found the practise manager to be very reassuring and had a very good knowledge so was able to put my nerves at ease. I know that I require a good deal of work to be carried out and was given advice by the staff as to what "banding" my treatment was likely to come under on the NHS. I cannot fault the staff for how I was treated, and I am looking forward to starting my treatment with them in the future
