Staff were great very helpful considering we were there 2 days before the start of term. Ridiculously overpriced shoes for children though

I always buy Clarkes shoes for the comfort and longevity, always good quality, but as I walked up to it this time I thought it was a closing down sale! Window display almost bare and choice inside equally sparse. What they did have, and I tried three, didn't have my size in stock. Never had any problem before, but when I go to get shoes, I don't want to wait a week or two on them arriving. Disappointing. :-(
Friendly and helpful staff. Shoes are always top quality, and there's great value to be had during the periodic sales they have.
