   Last week, I bought a pair of shoes from your store, but unfortunately, they were extremely uncomfortable after I tried them on at once. I went back to request a refund, but the staff was very rude and unhelpful. They told me that because I had already tried on the shoes, I was not eligible for a refund. Instead of offering any real assistance, they kept making excuses and told me to contact customer service myself. Overall, it was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

   Today, I attempted to return and exchange the shoes (purchased Feb 2024) at the Boulevard, Banbridge, County Down. The Manager, Ms J Steward, was curtly dismissive and refused to facilitate a refund or exchange of faulty merchandise. I have worn these shoes no more than five times in total. I noticed a fray in the threading just after I purchased them. Given that they were purchased at an Outlet, I assumed it to be a minor imperfection rather than an issue of quality. I was mistaken. This product is indeed faulty—hence my decision to exchange and replace them today. I have worn Clark footwear for many years and have been a loyal customer. After my experience today, being embarrassed at the counter by a dismissive Manager in a busy store, I will actively boycott the brand and all stores. An Outlet store may offer discounts on quality brands. However, Management and Customer experience within your sales outlet should still strive for a quality shopping experience during and after the sales event.

   The visit in Banbridge store is always amazing but more especially today as it was nearly closing time but staff Jocelyn made an effort to help us and waited till we got the right shoes. Thanks for waiting really appreciate it. The bargain is also worth a visit. Definitely will come back in the future...

   I had 4 children to get school shoes. The girl measured the children outside which I questioned her to double check some. Inside we got a very inexperienced assistant which 2 of the sizes were wrong. We were well over an hour in the shop to realise someone then lifted a pair of shoes on us and then there was none left.
