I have to say after having nightmares with Curry’s and Marks Electrical….dealing with these guys today was an excellent experience, even down to the lad who served us with our collection, very polite and nothing was too much trouble Will definitely be using these guys again Thank you

    Purchased a washing machine from them less than 2 months ago. Broke down, had to wait 8 days for an engineer to come. Stated what we already knew such F2 fault and needed a new motor. No motors in stock until after Christmas. Now been given the run around and fibbed off and told to contact the manufacturer. Not upto us to contact the manufacturer. Now getting trading standards involved. Avoid like the plague. Now 13days without a washing machine. Lots of washing stuck in the drum, been having to use a launderette. They don't compensate for the wasted washing in the drum that is now mouldy and the cost of the launderettes.

    As a customer it was a painless pickup. Really easy to find, plenty of space to park, checked in at a desk with my order number and waited outside, my items were brought to the back of my vehicle really promptly and was overall a pleasant experience. I'd definitely choose pickup again.

    If I could give 0 stars I would! Terrible customer service from start to finish. They booked a delivery company to install my washing machine but the company were fraudulent and didn’t not install it correctly. They then sent the same company back who could not fix it as the previous delivery drivers had broken it- I asked Appliance direct not to send them back but they came back again. My washing machine was broken flooded and I’m still without a washing machine or refund. Shocking service. Shocking delivery company.

    Sally will never use again, firstly when you use the Trust Pilot 4.6 star link on the site it wouldn't work? As you can see here they're not. The dehumidifier is quiet and works well, has some slight biasing rattle's which I'm sure have been caused by the drop. I wouldn't recommend them for Christmas delivery as it's taken a return and replacement which is also broken over 3 week period and I'm so fed up with them and the item works after repair so not wasting anymore of my life dealing with them. FYI Appliances Direct, your first dehumidify was sold as refurbish which was incorrect, it's was used and placed in the box, bits also were missing, DPD had obviously let the box fall over in the van as the water left in the appliance had leak into the unit, the filter was filthy and machine was covered in dirt. You collected it and said it was a good will gesture, well that wasn't honoured when it came to the refund you wanted to take £20 from me for it, you also said it was damaged on return which when it left me was ok as I have the photos to show. The replacement arrived and all looked great till I opened the box which in fairness looked ok. Initially looked ok, worked ok, then I noticed water on the floor, found water tray broken from top to bottom, then looking at the box found bits in the packaging, found the bace of the machine was also cracked which I believe is from being dropped from height. I can't say it was down to you or DPD. It works and I've glued tray up and will not waste any more of my life dealing with you to get an dehumidifier.

    Same as most of the reviews below. back in October I purchased a bathroom sink and toilet unit. They were quick to take my money…I then heard nothing. I had to chase and it transpired they had my order but hadn’t placed an order with their supplier to get the item to me…..essentially they took my £700 and then completely forgot. Today January 2023 I have half of the unit the other half still not arrived after over 20 calls and mails. I don’t think it’s coming but they don’t have the balls to say the have messed up. They have offered me 20% to keep what I have and buy parts myself else where it’s not enough to cover what’s missing…joke Do not touch with a barge pole. Spend your money else where. Also be aware they operate as 5 different companies one of which is better bathrooms, STEER CLEAR ….

    We ordered a cooker hood from here, although it was our mistake of ordering the incorrect size, the 2 boys at the collection desk were really really helpful. Gave good advice and were very respectful and kind young man. Definitely will use this company to order again. Highly recommended!!

    Do not touch this company! I have been battling with this company since August 2022 and their faulty goods, awful customer service and general attitude absolutely stink. They do not care how they treat you. I have been told "we don't have to offer you any compensation" when I was lucky enough to get £10 for my troubles. The delivery date you choose is never honoured. The helpline is charged at 13p per minute. The respond to emails eventually. Their case managers are rude. Don't do it... go somewhere else. Even if they are cheaper, you will pay in time and costs trying to sort out their mistakes.

    Ordered a Samsung A42 for my mums Christmas present, I spent around £320 for the phone. I was sent a USED SAMSUNG S10+ the box was not sealed, the charger had been used and security seal was broken! It was actually sellotaped prior to noticing the seal was broken but i didn’t think much of it until I opened the package to find out I had a completely different phone to what i ordered. I rang customer service right away, they didn’t appear shocked. They asked me to take pictures of the item I received on Friday 10/11/2020 which is pictured below and they said they would investigate the matter. Fast forward to Wednesday 15th I still had no update/apology that someone had tried to fleece me out of my hard earned money. After phoning them back Myself i got the phone collected on 16th and received a full refund on 21st luckily giving me enough time to take my money elsewhere. Let’s face it, sending a used phone was intentional. That’s not an accident. Never will I use this company again. AVOID AVOID AVOID unless you WANT to be messed about.
