   Went to Clarke’s in Taunton and was told that if there were any issues local store could deal with it. Not so… went into Plymouth store today, fobbed off by the staff and manager dahni (who stayed in the back) and store person was left to take my frustration. The guy on the till was clearly embarrassed by not being able to help. Seeing as the error was on Skechers staff. C’mon Plymouth. Up your game. Customer service for a retailer as huge as yours was exceptionally poor!!

   Everyone in the store is lovely apart from the assistant manager (the blonde lady). She has a really nasty attitude, constantly speaks over you, and even had a smug look on her face at the end and laughing, almost as if she knew me and my mum were annoyed by the way she handled things. The issue was with a pair of shoes my mum had only worn 4–5 times. The sole on one shoe was peeling away at the front, which is clearly a quality issue. Instead of listening, she claimed it looked like my mum had “kicked something” just because the sole pattern was a bit smoothed out. That’s normal wear, but it has nothing to do with the sole peeling off from the inside. No matter how we tried to explain, she wouldn’t hear it. We told her you can’t judge the quality of shoes purely on assumptions and personal opinion as a manager. We’ve shopped here many times and this is the very first time we’ve ever come in with a complaint. For her to dismiss us with such an attitude was shocking. She seriously needs to work on her patience and her customer service — especially considering a lot of older people also shop here and deserve to be treated with respect..

   Outstanding service today especially from the gentleman who served me and the guy I was supporting who has a learning disability. The guy I was supporting was struggling with the noise and the one serving us asked if I would like the music turned down. I was blown away by this I have never had a shop worker be so in tune with someone else’s needs like this. I wish I had got the blokes name as it was not just that kind jester. He was very patient and polite to the guy I was supporting. I would like to think that Skechers train their staff for this situation. If they do safe to say it pays off if not then they should. We will certainly be going back there to shop.

   Superb products and service. I bought a new pair of Skechers slip ins on January 11th and they felt fantastic. I have recently had an ankle fusion surgery and the young Lady who served me was very polite, pleasant and helpful.

   Very helpful guy in the shop. Nothing was to much trouble for him. He brought me out several pairs of sketchers to try on and found the right pair for me. I WILL be going there again.

   Excellent service, I was served by an extremely friendly and helpful guy called Peter (I hope I remember correctly). He was really accommodating to me, I recently had surgery on my toe and he was super knowledgeable about shoes that would fit with my bandages, would be comfy and went out of his way to make several trips to and from the stock room with multiple boxes of different shoes in different sizes just for me. Extremely grateful, if you see this, thank you again. The only reason for the 4* is to the company rather than the store itself, I find them expensive in price for what you get for some items, and it was difficult to find designs and sizes right for me that I liked.
