Awful service as per usual from the same staff member, least he's consistent. I accidentally said 'ill get my Costa app out' to which he said 'you are in cafe nero'..I know that, I'm in cafe Nero every weekend, I made a mistake. Last time he had attitude about me wanting to use the toilet whilst he prepared my drink, as if I was going to run away and not pay, I'm in there every week and live local, and I had my card in my hand to pay. Need I go on. He's abrupt and sharp. He needs to go to charm school. I actually say to my husband 'here we go again' when I see that it's the same member of staff....one day I might no be able to keep my mouth shut...

⭐ 1-Star Review for Caffè Nero I’m honestly very disappointed with our visit to Caffè Nero today. From the moment we walked in, the woman attending to us was extremely rude and unprofessional. She made little comments under her breath and had a generally unpleasant attitude, which completely ruined what was supposed to be a calm coffee break before catching our train. When I politely mentioned that there was no need to be rude, she denied it and continued acting dismissively. I even asked what time they closed — she said 7 PM, even though it wasn’t even 6 yet — but she was already rushing to tidy up, picking up chairs and tables as if to make it clear we weren’t welcome to stay. We left feeling completely disgusted by the service. If this is how customers are treated, it’s really disappointing. Everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect, regardless of how someone feels about their job. If you’re unhappy at work, please don’t take it out on your customers. Absolutely never again — such an unpleasant experience for what should’ve been a simple coffee stop.

Coffee chain of choice for me. Gets busy at peak times. Staff friendly and polite. Decor a little tired so needs some new furniture/ coverings or could do with a slightly better thorough clean to help it look better.

staff seemed unfriendly and uninterested in serving customers, with little effort to communicate properly. The matcha latte was very bland. Definitely not worth the price.

Good range of coffee, hot chocolate and tea. Some very enticing Italian baked goods too! I had a blueberry mousse cake this time- light and fluffy!

The Cafe Nero ham and cheese croissants are kept in a cooler that keeps them so cold they are icy in the middle. The customer has no choise but to have them gently heated but, no they zap them in the microwave for 2 minutes. ( Cafe Nero policy) They make no attempt to serve a very enjoyable snack at room temperature but, serve up a totally flat steaming hot, nothing like a croissant at all. This is for the benefit of Cafe Nero and not the customer. I cannot recommend.

Great Coffee and the delicious pastries. Use the app to earn free stuff quickly. Has a good size bright and welcoming internal space and views out over the newest part of the regenerated city, with a new multi-storey car park and the demolished Broadmarsh (work in progress but it already looks better…) 2 minutes to the bus station (in the car park) and the train station.

This cafe Nero just in front of the new Broad Marsh bus, coach station and car park in Nottingham is the ideal place to sit down and relax in the city center. I had s double macchiato and it was perfect. Staff is very friendly.
