   The flavor was completely new to me and truly exceptional – I’ll definitely be coming back for this dish. I usually don’t prefer banana in desserts, but I decided to take a risk and it turned out to be the best decision. The taste is so delicious and perfectly balanced. They were also very generous with the portion; I think this plate can easily be shared by 2–3 people. As for the coffee, I recommend ordering it hot – Americanos usually taste much better hot than iced. Thank you!

   Had a very nice brunch here recently. Mushrooms on toast were delicious. Also ordered a very nice Spanish latte but as the food took a while I'd finished it before the food arrived. Bit pricey but very tasty.

   Myself and two friends visited yolk. on a Saturday lunchtime. It’s a really nice little place, very bright and cosy as there’s not many tables. The food was also delicious. Unfortunately the service did have an effect on our experience. All staff were lovely, though service was very slow. My friend’s iced coffee was made and was sat on the bar for about 5 minutes before anyone brought it over (I could see it being made from my seat). We had to ask for it to be brought over. Our food took half an hour to arrive, and we had no apology or explanation when it was eventually brought over. It’s a shame as it’s a lovely little place. Hopefully this was a one off!

   I enjoyed my latte with pea milk and 'cowgirl' avacadotoast, food quality was good but is on pricey side. My friend enjoyed her vegetarian breakfast which had decent vegetarian bits like black pudding and sausage that both tasted good! I was a little disappointed with service as I arrived a little later than my friend and was not offer a drink for a while. Also it was hard to understand if we have to order at the counter or wait for someone to come to us as it took long time when there were not many people in. Staff were nice and friendly though! I am willing to give this place another go and try something else :)

   We loved our visit to yolk! The food portions were really generous, and the quality itself was excellent. The bread and bacon were thick, crispy and soft in the middle. The eggs and avocado were fresh and prepared to perfection. The staff member inside was extremely friendly and accommodating. Service was pretty quick and the overall price is very good value. I've been to Nottingham many times and this is easily the best place for breakfast. They also looked like they had good taste in beer for later in the day.

   We ate at Yolk for a vegan breakfast during a stay in Nottingham. It's a very busy small cafe and plenty of people were asked to wait outside until a table came free. The staff really come above everything and were so lovely and accommodating when they were clearly rushed off their feet. We had scrambled tofu and beans on toast and a full breakfast with scrambled tofu. All very nice, and very filling but the absolute highlight for me was the hot chocolate which was incredible - the coca in the drink outweighed the sugar and was so chocolatey. The cup needed to be bigger.

   Went in for a lovely brunch, loved the quirkiness and simplicity of the layout. Love the yellow cup and saucer, but for me being me I’d have a white saucer so it looks like an egg/yolk theme. Coffee was lovely and the food flavourful. Reasonably priced too! 3 brunch’s +3 hot drinks was £36 so very suitably priced!

   Like egg? Go Yolk. Good service with indoor and outdoor seating. Food is well presented and tasty enough. It's a good angle to provide egg based cuisine (vegan also provided for). It's a little pricey for the portion size imho.
