A table was booked for Christmas eve for a 70th birthday, told us twice food will be served when arrived we was told there's no food and then told there only afew selection of choice. The food wasn't great at all, horrible and cheap. Wouldn't return again. A birthday ruined.
Visited a few days ago and tried the scampi and chips beautifully cooked, crisp, and full of flavour. I really appreciate that the restaurant supports Macmillan; it adds a sense of purpose to the meal. A lovely experience overall good food for a good cause.
Came with friends and ordered the House Sharer to start. It was huge and delicious! The sticky pickle sausage rolls were a highlight. Great atmosphere for catching up.
Had a brilliant family lunch at Inn For A Penny. The kids loved the crispy chicken strips, and my Beef & Ale Pie was fantastic – you can taste why it’s an award winner! Friendly service in a lovely pub setting.
Nipped in for a quick pint on a sunny Saturday. Good atmosphere with plenty of families. Football on the TVs, good vibes. Drinking area out the front and a larger one round the back with kids play area and large carpark.

Boring, clicky and not very full. Could do more with a good food menu, possibly local live music. Could utilize the huge car park.

Arrived here to meet up with a good beer buddy. Behind the bar was a young man named Connor. He is a wicked barman, on his own he looked after everyone with professional attitude & always with a smile for customers. Someone promote this man. Signing off as a very satisfied customer
Had seen a lot of change over the years and this time, it's working. The new owner is wonderful and helped with a wake of a much loved regular. The quiz nights are fun and the disco can be laugh. Great local
