   My team and I attended The Kensington for our works Christmas party last night. We had the Christmas menu , and it was outstanding! The atmosphere in the pub was chilled but festive , relaxed and warm. The barmaid/waitress (I didn’t get her name ) Was fun, attentive, professional, hopefully the landlords value her as much as we did! We will definitely be returning, regularly! Keep up the good work

   We had the most fantastic meal, it really was exceptional. The whole experience was on par with what you would expect from a five star restaurant - hence the stars! The food was beautifully cooked, full of flavour and presented with real care. Every course was indulgent and so much additional fresh veg (not seen on my photo - sorry) I had to ask for my dessert to take home as I was so full from the main course. The lovely girl who looked after us was very friendly and professional - nothing felt rushed. We genuinely could not fault a single thing. Thank you for our fab dinner x

   The new owners have shown the potential to turn this newly named pub into a real community hub. In my recent visits I have found the staff to be super helpful and the owner is always around the bar area welcoming people into their pub. Great atmosphere and can't wait for it to be fully refurbished as the areas already done are looking great. Food was also very generous for the price!!

   Another good meal at The Kensington. Had fish and chips and Sunday roast previously (party of 10) and dirty fries and a hotdog today. I really recommend the place. Lovely atmosphere, there is always something going on ( Halloween party, Harry Potter night, Fireworks night tonight…). Very friendly staff and lovely food. We will be back. Thank you. Such a lovely addition to our community;)

   Tina and Lucy facilitated a fantastic wake for my wife. We were able to have over 100 people fed and watered with Caribbean food (from the Chefs Hut) and sandwiches etc from Number One. I am sure Gail would have been proud of the wake.
