If you're wondering how good the Earl of Chesterfield is under new ownership you have no need to worry - it's fantastic! We've just had an absolutely wonderful meal - the food was beautiful and the staff were brilliant. The manager (I think his name is Joe) is superb!
A fantastic visit to this village pub under new management, where I recently attended a whisky tasting. Beautiful and cosy decor, great food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices, I'll be sure to head back in future. With Phil and Emma at the helm you can tell there's so much more to come from this place!
Enjoyed a lovely meal. Great service, friendly from the minute you walk in and they take the time to talk about the menu. Very good meals. Not a huge menu but plenty to choose from and it means they can do things well.
Fantastic meal on a lazy Saturday afternoon. 3 year old loved the food and my pie and my (our) brownie was marvellous. The new staff were very helpful and chatty. Very nice experience. We will be back. Thanks.
Really nice addition. The pub looks excellent now it's been renovated. Food is well priced and very competitive. Staff are friendly and attentive. Dog friendly too which is always nice bonus

This was a lovely pub with a very warm welcome. We enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch and our 2 dogs were made to feel very welcome. Will return when we are next in the area.
Drove passed this pub quite a few times on the off chance I phoned them up to see if it was dog friendly so booked a table OMG the place is up there with the best I’ve been in staff and management so polite and the customers are really friendly 1st time I’ve been in there and felt right at home everyone in there basically came over and fussed the dogs Now on top of that the food was 1st class This was top restaurant food All in all a great Friday night Dogs loved all the fuss as well Will deffo be back
