Well I must admit this is the first time I have visited this venue and was very pleased I did. Lovely little micro pub adorned wall filled with music memorabilia . Good choice of spirits and more importantly 4 great real ale choices. The man behind the bar, was I assume the owner. He was warm, friendly, chatty and put all customers at ease. The beer was fantastic, seating great, loos spotless. There are unusual and unique seating options, board games and even a dog station with food, drink , poop bags. Fabulous place that I will definitely visit again.

Don’t really write reviews but this pub deserves one! Ralph is a fantastic owner, always has new beers on and dogs are welcome

Far and away the best pub in Mapperley Top, even with the limited opening hours. When we went there last, it was a two to one human to dog ratio, and dogs would take it in turns to check you out for a fuss. I didn't learn any of the people's names (I'm sure they were nice too) but Dexter, Estelle, Basil and Poppy were excellent company. A cosy space with a brilliant owner, and an inclusive community vibe. Perfect. Edit: I forgot to mention Bear, the pub dog. Sorry, Bear

Lovely atmosphere and good drinks at decent price. I love all the decorative items the owner, Ralph, made himself. Bonus: you get free dogs to stroke if you wish to! One of the best places in Nottingham.

Love this place. Firstly, it’s good value. There’s a really nice ambience and the dog friendly welcome is exceptional. Having a live musician play makes this place a really nice place to spend some time chilling and enjoying! Tip for dog owners, they have £1 charity dog treats at the bar which you can even pay for on your card and they put the pound in for you. This is now my regular haunt!
