Wow. What a place. Took my son and his girlfriend here for Sunday lunch. Made a huge error ordering the fish and chips, which were lovely, when I saw the Sunday roasts!! Great service too. Will be back for sure
Food is superb, service good, really nicely done out internally and quiet. Only slight negative is menu is sometimes a bit static and limited if you go frequently, though it does change. Certainly worth eating at though.
I dined here as part of a group. Waiting staff were super helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, my main meal hadn't been fully cooked as the aubergine was still so hard it was unpalatable, unlike my friend's one which was juicy and soft as one would expect. Mine was replaced with another which was, sadly, just as hard. As you would expect, I was offered another choice so I chose something simple, veggie sausage and mash. I ate it because, by this time I was super hungry but, sadly, the veggie sausages were very dry, overcooked and tasted like over seasoned cardboard, I could only manage to eat one. The mash was, well, just mash but I enjoyed the green beans and home made onion rings. Based on my experience, I can't recommend the food but others in my party seemed to enjoy theirs.
Lovely food and surroundings. Unfortunately there seems to be visitors to this pub who think the disabled parking is there for their convenience and not for actual disabled customers. We saw a black jaguar using half a normal space and half the disabled space when we went in so my husband ,who is disabled and needs to be able to open the cR door wide, couldn't use it. Then when we came out there was a black BMW parked the same way. I did mention it to the staff, but not sure if anything was done.
We had a Sunday Lunch at the tailors and it was INCREDIBLE! One of the nicest roasts I’d had in a long time. I’m vegetarian and their veggie option was delicious. Others in the group had mixed roasts all of which were generous portions and looked just as tasty. We will be back again very soon!

Amazing lunch but unfortunately the pudding dissapointed. It was over cooked and dry (probably microwaved) not how a sticky toffee should be and maybe serving it with cream or ice cream would be good be a good idea. I would definitely go back the staff were very friendly and our main meal was delicious. Would have been 5 stars but the pudding wasn't up to scratch.
Very nice food, well presented with attention to detail, interesting dishes. Good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Staff were very welcoming. There is a bar area and separate restaurant area.
The food is delicious. It's a gastropub which means that the food is not the classic pub food but food of high quality. The cheap version of a fine dining cuisine and service. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is warm and the menu is simple and clear. The starters is something that you should definitely try, it is the best thing on the menu. My favourites are the following: sesame halloumi ( I could have that every single day, the honey drizzle goes so well with the sesame coated halloumi), the crayfish bisque ( a delicious luxury served in a unique way) and last but not least the arancini (delicious,delicious,delicious). The Tailors Arms has its own free parking but there is a bus stop 30 seconds away and a tram stop 2 minutes away. Wilford is a very quiet area however the Taylor's Arms is on the main road, next to the co-operative supermarket.
This pub is an amazing place. It has a separate area for dinning. Both bar and restaurant are very clean with beautiful decoration. The menu is similar to that of a 3 stars restaurant. It has a good variety of starters, main dishes and wine. The food is very tasty and the plates are very beautifully decorated equal to a fine dining restaurant. It is a place that I definitely recommend.
