Sazzza was absolutely lovely this evening, she’s recommended the best dishes, the service is brilliant from her. The environment was cozy and quiet and friendly. The food was wonderful. Recommended 28 day steak 80z Sirloin and BBQ Chicken, shoutout the chefs tonight. Would come back again! Absolutely wonderful, definitely worth the money and price for the food as well.

Amazing times at the ferry Inn (Nottingham) Fantastic food, great selection of specials to choose. Thanks to Dom and staff for a great time spent with family and great recommendations for food and drink. Worth a return visit.

Fantastic atmosphere, lovely staff but mediocre food. We visit on Tuesday evening a bit late for their timing (8.30pm). We were told that kitchen service is closing in 30 min. We placed our orders and food arrived in 20 min or so. I ordered burger and my Mrs salmon fish cake. Fishcake was edible but nothing special. When it comes to my burger I was impressed by my fries, really delicious. When it comes to the burger plot has twisted. As a someone in love with smoked food, my first impression was that they used some odd bbq sauce. It was too smoky even for my liking. Later I realised that real issue is almost charcoaled burger patty. I had to carve all surrounding in order to be able to eat my food. If I didn’t know that kitchen was closed, I would ask for replacement since burger was not edible with original state. Would like to give this place another shot since we really enjoyed the ambiance.

We came on a Saturday evening for dinner. You order at the bar so it is more relaxed dining. Our food was fine but I probably wouldn’t eat here again. It was a bit hit and miss, some dishes were very nice and some weren’t. They play loud, and in my opinion, un tasteful music which we weren’t a fan of. A big plus is that it was dog friendly and dogs are allowed inside too. The service was fine and the staff seemed polite! I would only come back for a drink, not to eat.

As someone who doesn’t typically frequent pubs or enjoy pub food, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was comforting and delicious, and the pub itself is absolutely stunning. We were first seated outside, which was lovely, but as the evening got chilly, they kindly moved us indoors, and both spaces were equally charming. Some of the plates weren’t very nicely served though, especially the shrimp and fries dish so definitely room for improvement on that. The pub is dog-friendly, and there’s plenty of seating, both indoors and out, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable experience overall.

Recently moved to the area so visited for Sunday lunch. Really nice environment and super lovely staff. The venison special had sold out but the confit duck was a tasty back up. Looking forward to returning for a cracking roast.

Came for a family meal, absolutely lovely historical pub/restaurant! Our server Jane went above and beyond, truly fantastic service to say they were short staffed, an amazing example of someone who is on top of their job and focus on customer service, a real credit to the team at the Ferry Inn! Thank you very much for a lovely visit, we'll be sure to come back :)

A nice looking pub with a good garden and friendly staff. The menu was quite varied and had options for everyone. The starters were not great (calamari was over cooked and soup was okay) but the pies were a hit.
