    Good selection of drinks, however when I visited a couple of weeks ago, the toilets were shocking! No toilet paper and very smelly.

    This place was disgusting. The toilets were absolutely shocking, locks broken, mould on the walls, no toilet roll or hand soap. How they think they can open a pub with toilets like those to the public is beyond me. Overall the place felt rundown, tacky and cheap it was a really unpleasant environment which is a shame as the pub that was there before was so pleasant and enjoyable it's a shame to see what the place has turned into. When I reported the situation the staff were nice about it but still how can you be completely unaware your toilets are disgustingly unusable? Won't be returning.

    One of the nice novelty bars in Nottingham is Spanky Van Dykes, centrally located in Nottingham and with a great list of craft beer from around the world as well as a good list of cocktails. There is also a a videogame corner and decent food. A nice haunt for a few pints.

    An all-round great place; good drinks, great food, and an amazing funky atmosphere! I am such a huge fan of this place; the interior is super funky with loads of interesting posters plastered all over the walls and other quirky objects pinned about the place. The nights they put on in the upstairs area have always been a great night, and the drinks are never as bad as you'd expect from a place like this. The food is divine, especially their 2-4-1 burger offer on Tuesdays!
