Absolutely shocking Sunday roast. Would have given a zero if possible. Everything was undercooked and not fit for purpose. Left all of it. Will not be returning. A plate of mistakes.

Very disappointing experience with Crafty Teller using a Groupon breakfast voucher. First attempt: we arrived at 11am to find the place closed. We double checked every page they had and the only notice was a Facebook post made late at night just 12 hours before with new opening hours, there were no updates on Google or their website. We had to go elsewhere, which defeated the purpose of booking a Groupon for this specific place. We gave them another chance a week later. We arrived at 12:10pm, during their new stated opening hours. The venue was empty, we weren’t acknowledged by staff, and when we went to order breakfast the staff member barely said a word and had to call the owner. We were then told they weren’t serving breakfast anymore over the phone due to new holiday hours and were asked to come back three hours later for lunch despite the menu on their own website still stating breakfast is served until 2pm and the breakfast Groupon still being sold. I think they could have turned this experience around if they offered us lunch instead at the time of our arrival but asking us to come back 3 hours later was surprising to hear as a customer when they should be ready for business upon opening, they literally have the front door wide open inviting customers in. to top it off and add to this annoying experience we struggled to park and had to settle for a paid parking spot, which was fine but obviously wasted as we left Crafty Teller and the area immediately. Although Groupon refunded us for the deal, the poor communication, inaccurate out of date information and lack of basic customer service made this a frustrating trip. We won’t be returning.

Very poor customer service skills, the women on duty never smiled or said good afternoon on arrival or goodbye on departure. Went with a Groupon voucher at 12.00 midday on Wednesday when according to there website they start serving food to customers. Was told to come back at 15.00 hours then they could accommodate the three of us(the place was empty not as if they were rushed of there feet)so why advertise food service from midday till late including breakfast and brunch till 14.00. If this has changed you need to update your website menu information for those walk-ins and change the terms of your Groupon voucher for those who have purchased (I got a refund on mine.) Also your opening hours for kitchen and pub need changing on Google they appear to be out of date. All in all a very poor experience and nothing like the friendly welcome the website promises.

Visited on Sunday afternoon, hardly anyone in here which was odd. Realised why. The pub is absolutely disgusting. Dirty floors, dirty tables, cobwebs everywhere. Toilets look like they not been cleaned in weeks, broken tap. Was originally planning to eat here but couldn’t stomach is. Beer lines need a good clean as had 2 beers and both tasted off. Won’t be back I don’t think.

Been coming fairly regularly since the new owners took over. Such a transformation. The owners and staff are great, super friendly and trying hard to turn the pub around. The ales are well kept and at a great price. Have had a Sunday roast (with a pint of titanic plum porter for desert.) on the first weekend and it was really tasty and good value for money, well worth a try. Also had a burger which was a big portion and tasty. Will definitely eat here again may even try the ultimate test and have the steak.

Visited on Friday for dinner since their reopening - and will be going back as soon as possible! Amazing food, incredible value, and even on a Friday evening very family friendly - my daughters (1 and 3) loved it as much as we did - lots of board games to play!

This pub is nice but the only problem is that it is always cold and with that not welcoming if you are cold I think that why people don’t stop long you go out to enjoy a drink but not to sit there freezing and having to sit with you coat on all other pubs in Sherwood are nice and warm and welcoming Sorry but that how it is

Great good including vegan options, lovely cocktails. Well priced. Had a very good experience. Plus best vegan "chicken" burger I have ever had! They even had vegan mayo!
