    Great night last night. Good venue for live music, fast service, Guinness on tap and really friendly locals made us feel at home. Got a nice looking beer garden with outdoor stage for the summer. My new local me thinks.

    Nice folks run this public house. There's a conference room upstairs along with a projector screen which is for hire. This also has a disco set up which is also hireable.

    Just had my mums surprise 55th party at the barge and wow! Thank you to rich, Simon, Kim and the team at the barge that made this happen! Super organised quick to be served and helped us clean along the way☺️ Rich kept in touch with me all through the week helping to sort it out! Built in lights, speakers and microphone in the function room so super easy set up!

    Having delivery trucks block the entire road at morning rush hour no warning making it incredible difficult to turn around. There was space a meter up the road for it to park normally and let car through or put cones out the night before but blocking a well used road at morning rush hour does not exactly consider the locals. No apology from the staff standing there just looking on as if it was our fault we went that way. Thankfully left early for work

    It's I a lovely starch of the erewash canal at long Eaton the pub is a friendly place to realax the staff are friendly and helpful and it's a nice stop of if you are a boater
