Good to see that the Manor, Toton, has re-opened, but RIDICULOUS drinks prices. Pint of Timothy Taylor is £5.80, half pint £3,75 !!! Large glass of very ordinary Sauvignon nearly £9 (bottle of same is less than £6 in Tesco) Who sets these prices? Greene King or new manager/Tennant?

Lovely main meal but disappointed in the desserts. After a roast dinner we would have liked a choice of a lighter sweet.

Went for Sunday lunch 10-08-25. The food was served and whilst it initially looked good however nothing was hot and didn’t seem to be freshly made. I ordered a side of belly pork which was so over cooked it was like jerky and the cauliflower cheese side was watery. I can say however the lamb shank was very tender. Of the vegetables I could only say the broccoli was nice. I enjoyed the pint of 1664.

Took my mother for early mother's day. She's very piccy and we have very different tastes in both pubs and food, however, we were all very satisfied with both the food and service. The new menu is great. We had the gnocchi, chicken tikka kebabs, fish and chips and chicken burger. All tasted great and the service was great - the team are very helpful, especially with me faffing about deciding!

Decided to try the food here after hearing good reviews and it didn’t disappoint ! Three of us visited on a Saturday evening at 7pm, the bar and table service were both good. We ordered, steak, curry and meatballs. All 3 meals were thoroughly enjoyed. We had a couple of questions so spoke to the chef Ewan, he was exceptionally helpful and approachable. Well Done to the new team for waking the menu and the pub up, we will Definetly be regulars!!!!

We were the only customers visiting for lunch and it took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Once it did it was under cooked. The vegetables were raw and the cheese topping on the cottage pie was barely melted. We would have sent it back but there was not enough time left for lunch. Nice place but we would not return when we have a deadline of a lunchtime.....if we are wanting cooked food. Maybe a sandwich would have been a better choice.

Place was very quiet staff were having a chat with people they obviously knew. They didn't ask if everything was okay. Steak and ale pie was very salty but was okay, latte wasn't great and toilets weren't lit. The whole place needs an injection of tlc! Wasnt goid value for money. Disappointed!

Friendly staff, food was lovely. Homemade tomatoe soup, chilli n rice. My partner had the homemade tomatoe soup too, steak , chips and onion rings . Both had homemade apple pie & custard. The pastry was amazing. 3 courses £15.99 each a bargain

Food was very low quality, very small portions and alot higher priced then any other greenking in the area. The scampi and chips had like 5 chips and tasted like a microwave ready meal

The food is lovely and the staff are attentive, they do not always appear too happy though. It is so quiet here and I cant work out why. It is clean, the food is really nice and the location is perfect between Nottingham and Derby and right on a bus stop.
