Plentiful, tasty curry platter-Β£10 on Thursdays! The Baileys profiteroles were lovely. Friendly staff. Dog friendly-brought a water bowl & treats.

Visited the wheelhouse for lunch with my other half, was served by a lady called Joanne she made us feel welcome, after looking through the menu we decided on the Christmas burger and the new ranch burger, the food came out in speedy time and tasted amazing. We will definitely be back for another visit

This is a lovely spot, especially in the summerβ€”the garden and patio area are perfect for dining and relaxing outdoors. We started our meal outside but moved indoors once it got a bit chilly and windy. The food was decentβ€”classic, comforting pub fare. We tried the burger sliders and the mushroom and ale pie, both of which were satisfying, though nothing particularly standout. I’m generally not the biggest fan of pub food, as the variety and quality can be hit-or-miss, and the service often reflects that. That said, this place was better than average and made for a pleasant experience overall.

Had a good visit today, the food was piping hot and pleasant. I’m not convinced that the food represents good value for money. The soft drinks are certainly over priced, as is the Mac and cheese for what you get. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The pub has good around access for wheelchairs, again the staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Awful sunday roast. Nothing on the plate was fresh, roast potatoes and peas were like bullets , meat was like rubber with lots of fat, veg was wet and soggy. It's cheap , but the above is the reason why. Visit at your own peril

The wheelhouse, is a hungry horse franchise pub, the staff seemed a little busy and I would say they weren't in the most cheery mood. After finding a table, we had a look at the menu, I would say that the menu was last wiped when they were printed. The menu was full of choices and had a great variety, after much stipulation, I went for the Vimto burger, upon arrival the burger looked delicious, and smelled amazing. The burger itself was dry and didn't have much flavor, could have done with some sauce to top it off or the bacon could have been American sweet bacon to give it a bit of sweetness, I was expecting it to have something to do with Vimto, I guess it's only called Vimto due to the bun. The meat was quite dry and probably over cooked, it almost tasted like frozen meat. Other than that it came with a small portion of chips in a bucket. I would like to try the dirty fries next time as they look quite appealing.

Excellent food!... Host/waiter was very attentive and barman and barlady also on point. The hospitality and food was a real positive and felt it a credit to the brand, who usually would not be our first choice. Will definitely be returning and recommending. Mains and sides were really fresh, well timed and very tasty. Thanks and much appreciated
