   We had pre booked for a table of 7 for a early Christmas meal with friends. We were all greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome. The atmosphere is lovely, our table was booked for 6:30pm, it was quite quiet which was great. The staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for you. The majority of us went for the 3 courses for £21.75. I had garlic mushrooms, turkey dinner and lemon tart and it was absolutely delicious, the quality was amazing and the amount of food you got was well worth the money. The food arrived within good time for saying we were a table of 7. The servers were such a delight, so friendly and helpful. We all had such a wonderful experience. We had our works Christmas party here last year too and would definitely book again, I highly recommend The Dog and Duck and they are dog friendly too!!

   Faultless. Lovely pub warm clean and decorative, great food and drinks, welcoming and friendly staff I’m pretty sure it’s the manager I didn’t catch his name and Kathryn that served us and they were lovely. We enjoyed our drink and the food came promptly, thank you chef, Morgan, the burgers were juicy and tasty, as for my stepdads mixed grill he loved it! Which is great as it’s his birthday. Will be back again and will be recommending.

   We had a lovely meal here this evening (Dad, Mum, 2 kids 10 & 8). We arrived at 7. The staff let us know that it was busy but the food arrived in good time anyway. The food was excellent. Our son demolished the Halloween Spider Burger whilst our daughter loved the 4oz kids gammon. Our food was great too. A lovely, country feel pub with good food and a kid friendly atmosphere. 5 Stars.

   I eat at the Dog and Duck several times a week, often with friends and business associates. The pricing is very reasonable for great quality food which is always hot and delicious, and any special requests or dietary requirements are always catered for. The staff are welcoming, polite, helpful and prompt. The food arrives quickly. 10/10. Highly recommended.

   Booked a table at short notice and the staff were helpful and accommodating. There was plenty of parking available. We booked asking to bring our small dog and this was no problem. We are able to enter the restaurant from the entrance at the front and the gentleman who greeted us was incredibly helpful, friendly and had a positive attitude - very bubbly and cheerful. Orders are taken at the bar and the lady who served my husband was absolutely lovely. Our waitress was attentive and polite and made sure we were ok. Food was delicious and piping hot. We were informed of any wait times when ordering. This is a brilliant place to eat and would definitely recommend a visit. We visited as we were on holiday in the area.
