Brilliant dog friendly pub! Allowed our German shepherd dog inside. Once inside staff were super friendly and chatty even coming up every once in a while to check on the dog and offering treats and a water bowl. If you are a dog owner I would 100% recommended
Natasha was absolutely incredible. Memorised all our drinks and treated everyone so amazingly. Will definitely be back just for this service alone. She deserves a raise.
Hit the bar on a Monday so not particularly busy, the server was quite surly, not much to write home about I’m afraid! The beer selection was looking good but the AC was blowing so cold I upped and left pronto! Another night, a bit of music, happy staff, could be a winner! Not to be last night.
I visited here on a recommendation, and I'm glad I did. The service is excellent. Great customer service. The food is tasty. The atmosphere is lively, to say the least, especially when there is a football game on, be prepared to be croaky the next day after having to shout if you wanted conversation.
Came in for Sunday lunch around 4pm on Sunday 16/10/2022 waited over an hour and a half for our meals after asking the barstaff why the delay? Eventually got our meal, was told no Yorkshire pudding as ran out and though paid for extra horseradish sauce was told they ran out, Eventually told they were short staffed even though they continued to accept food orders £14 for 2 slices of beef, 1 carrot, 1 parsnip mash and gravy definitely not worth the £14 when asked for a partial refund for non delivery of items was told not their fault!! Absolutely shocking service food was luke warm and not worth the price tag!! I felt so absolutely awkward in the pub, when asked to speak to the Manager got told no one to speak to us. Shoddy service and excuses for apauling customer service.
It was quite quiet for a Saturday night, although we had an excellent time. Singer/guitarist was on, and he was very good, but sometimes I thought it could have been a bit more lively. Nice place to enjoy a drink and a chat....not a dance.
Stopped here for drinks and snacks. It has a really warm but chill atmosphere. Lots of folks popping in for a pint after work. Food was slow to come out, but maybe that's the vibe. The staff were rather friendly.
I love pugs! The food here is awesome and at great prices. The chicken and waffle sandwich was very filling, my friend got a burger and said he enjoyed it a lot. They also have cocktail pitchers and a student discount if I could I would've eaten here multiple times during my trip to Belfast. Only thing is I would've skipped the macaroni and cheese.
Needed a venue for a special birthday celebration for my daughter. Assisted by Stephanie who showed us the upstairs room which we booked for a very reasonable price. Team were really lovely and helpful and we were looked after on the night by Joe and Charlotte who were fab and Stephanie came and checked on us which was very thoughtful. My daughter and 25 friends had a brilliant and memorable night. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
