Drink only (cash only Pringles machine in the corner), old school bar. Taken there late in the evening by a friend who had been drinking there for 30 years. Richly decorated, comfortable seats. Decorated with booze, boxing and politics. Attentive staff. When closing time arrives you are politely yet firmly asked to drink up and make your way home.

We hadn’t been in Bittles for quite a few years and thought, as we were back in NI, we’d stop in. It was busy as usual but we did get a seat. The Guinness was perfectly poured and perfect in temperature. We’re not locals or expert enough to declare it to be the best in Belfast but we agree with those who do. Perfect pints and unique place to enjoy them in.

First-class service! I was very impressed with Bittles Bar. A friend recommended it, and I appreciate that it can be a tourist attraction, so I was expecting to be a bit chaotic. However, the staff have this bar running like a well-oiled machine. They make sure to find you a seat and keep your glass full. I was very impressed and had a great pint! I highly recommend it!!!

One of the best places in Belfast to get decent Guinness. Very small bar but some room outside. John the owner is one of Belfast's more "eccentric" characters. Just don't ask for coffee on its own. Or half pints for that matter.

This pub is full of character and atmosphere. The building itself is worth visiting alone and when we visited, the service was incredibly fast. The Guinness was top quality and there was a good selection of drinks available. It is quite small so be prepared to wait or drink outside if you can’t get a table.

A small quirky bar but an absolute pleasure to visit. We had our first (in Belfast) and best pint of Guinness here. Friendly staff and interesting location.

I had to have a post wedding “I love a drink on a Sunday” crawl around some selected watering holes in Belfast. First up was the @bittlesbar which is a slender superstar with great services the barman kindly brought the Guinness straight to the table even when it was pretty busy. If you’re after a couple of calm pints on a sun this is the gaff for you!

A fascinating piece of architecture with a really cute atmospheric bar inside. We tried some craft beer which we enjoyed, just thought it was fairly pricey, but otherwise really nice.
