   Rejuvenated Laverys looks great but service leaves a lot to be desired. Went with a friend who ordered a glass of white wine. Server put ice in the glass of wine without asking my friend. When this was pointed out that its not normal to put ice in the glass, the server responded "I think you'll find that it is normal". Absolute cheek and poor service answering a customer like that. In any case the wine was replaced but would not go in again.

   Had a great time last night for our society pool night event. Lavery's has always been one of the best bars in my opinion for a chill and social atmosphere when doing events. The pool tables are nice and there were enough for more than 40 people. Booked it online and that was pretty easy to do. The service by the staffs were amazing to, Pearce (apologies i dont know how to spell their name) was such an amazing person. They listened to what we needed for the night and was very considerate. Drinks were nice, a lot of people got drinks over pool. If you want a good night out with some pool and drinks, go here with friends ! Thanks Pearce you were amazing !

   The food was absolutely gorgeous we got chicken strips each strip was like a chicken fillet on its own didn't want long and staff were so lovely and helpful they made us feel welcome and comfortable and the show was amazing so funny at such a good price to we will definitely be back and I highly recommend to everyone u Must go

   Absolutely, fantastic.We walked down at 11 AM just to see where it was.As we were booked in for the comedy show said we would go in for one and we did not leave until 12 o'clock that night. Fantastic staff great atmosphere. The food is to die for and one of the best. Comedy shows in Ireland and a massive selection of beers, stouts and laggers you would definitely have enough to choose from. could not recommend this venue enough pool. Hall. Upstairs board games, downstairs. Lots to do will definitely be back. Cannot wait.

   My husband wanted to take me to one of the places he went to when he was a young man, growing up in Belfast. I am glad he did. We walked in and immediately felt welcome. The bar and waiting staff were helpful. Laverys was clean, comfortable and was exactly how I like my pubs, old and full of history! Our food arrived promptly and was hot, generous and delicious. I most definitely will be visiting again!

   The food was great overall, my only qualm is that I was not crazy about the chicken gourdins/tenders because I wasn't a fan of the oil it was in. Everything else was great, the wings were very tender and fell off the bone. The portion size here is enormous far beyond American portion size. The fish and chips was enough to feed three people. Also the desert was warm and delicious!
