Went climbing here. Climbing was very good although the traffic noise was relentless. Great views of the river, gorge and Clifton Suspension Bridge.

There's not much to actually see overall but the views and different routes accessible to and from Sea walls is surprising. (A small trail where you can sometimes see goats and enter the ravine down to the Portway is good for people with access to boots. Quite steep but been done in trainers). Toilet facilities are normally closed after after dark. Ice cream van there most of the time.

Good views but when low tide - looks muddy and also muddy way there! Can be VERY windy

Lovely place to have a walk and to sit down and read a book.

This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful spots in Bristol and one of my all-time favourite locations. Visit and you will see why. It's always got a vibrant feel to it, with all the people around enjoying the view and picnics with family and friends. The view is just spectacular. Did I mention that already? There's a reason

A relaxing place, beautiful view, have visited a few times and definitely go there again.

The views from here are stunning over the Avon Gorge. To the left you have the Clifton Suspension Bridge. To the right views over to Shirehampton and part of Avonmouth. Lastly across the river you can see thousands of tress over by Ashton Court/ Leigh Woods. Views of the balloons rising from Ashton Court and the Balloon Fiesta held every year mid August. And some truely stunningly beautiful sunsets. Plenty of space to be had for your day on the Downs
