Rlly good service, rlly accommodating, they let me try multiple colours because I was unsure of what colour I wanted, and they didn't rush me and made me feel comfortable! Nail art is amazing, she always does a lovely job, my nails are so pretty!!

Very friendly nail tech but bad technique, wanted just gel polish but they put a layer of dip before the polish which made them look bumpy with bubbles, there’s also some lint attached. When I expressed that I was unhappy they couldn’t see what I didn’t like and said there was nothing they could do because they were closing. I asked if they would repaint them if I came back the next day, to which they said nothing. My pedicure polish is smooth (they didn’t use dip) but poor application, it looks messy. I’ll just take them off at home. 2 stars because the massage chairs are great.
I have never had so many compliments on my nails!! The nail art is exceptional❤️! The team at Sophie’s nail bar are great! They are so accommodating and talented, they always make my nails look exactly how I want them even when I bring in the most random nail art ideas. I always come out with beautiful nails. I always recommend to friends and it is our go to nail salon.
My first time ever getting acrylic nails done, I work as physiotherapist and got guided to go for almond shape. The process was simple, I had called in prior and they were open on Sunday on Lunar new year whilst many nail salons were shut. I got them done more than 2 weeks ago and they still look great. Would be returning for sure :)
Really happy with my nails! I usually get my nails done at Dream Nails in London, and thought I’d try Sophie’s whilst I was up north for a work trip. Honestly, the care taken to ensure the perfect shape by the team and then Amy’s hard work on the gorgeous design is so appreciated! I’m up in Notts fairly often for work, and I won’t lie - I would come here again in a heartbeat. And I’m SO fussy with my nails! 10/10 - go here. Might be a little wait, but really with it!
I'm a person who likes to experiment, so I often go to many different nail salons. In my opinion, this is one of the nail salons that makes me feel satisfied from the nail shape to the service of the staff. I don’t get my nails done very often at all - maybe once a year for special occasions. I consider getting my nails done as a treat but this is a very basic no frills salon. I thought it would be okay because of all the great reviews but I found the male nail technician extremely rough with my nails. He would pull me without warning and push my hand away when he was done. He seemed to be very annoyed when I did not know what he wanted me to do next even though he did not tell me anything and this is not something I do regularly. I felt like a burden and a nuisance and extremely uncomfortable at times. My cuticles were picked within an inch of their lives and later bled when I left the salon. Front of house was nice but not enough to salvage this experience. I would rather do my own nails badly than come back and pay for this experience. Seems to be extremely popular with the student crowd though. Picture of my bleeding nails.
