Absolutely steadily, I'm 30 years old and look my age. With my children and they won't serve me a bottle of beer. Only two specific female staff, cant buy when they aren't there. Should get there eyes checked. I don't carry ID anymore and is only a problem here. They don't care about loss of business.
I came in about ten before closing and the staff were absolutely lovely. The security guard greeted me and made me laugh despite me being completely exhausted, a nice woman whose name I didn't catch (sorry) offered me a basket when I overestimated how much I could carry, and the cashier called Mohammed opened his till for me and he was absolutely wonderful. Really lovely, as bright and kind as if it was the early morning instead of the middle of the night! (Isles were pulled forwards beautifully as well so I grabbed things from the back to maintain the nice display)
Went in for a couple of snacks for the drive home and three members of staff stood by the staff door arguing and swearing at each other and texting and reluctantly helping someone on self service who’s item wouldn’t go through. Their loudness and attitude towards each other made me want to shop somewhere else. Disgraceful behaviour around customers
The perfect location in the city centre. Normally, this place is crowded. It's normal because it's in the city centre. They have plenty of snack and light meal for fulfil your stomach. Also, if you are in an emergency situation, you need something you probably find the items inside this store.
Got everything needed quick service
Won’t be coming back here anymore I’m am fed up keep getting abuse of homeless ppl sat outside the store, I even bought a bottle of water for one the other when was red hot and he have the nerve to ask me to go back in and get him some food as well!! You have security surely you can ask them to move on and stop harassing customers! Being a local landlord of pub near by I’ve heard a few people upset by this!
Great for picking up the extras that you run out of. Store was nice and clean with the floors free from rubbish. The shelves were fully stocked and the staff very friendly and very helpful with smiles on their faces
Not normally one to leave reviews but want to say about the utter disgust. 12/12/21 at 2:30pm a couple came in and was waiting in line and got asked to move to the side, which was understandable, the gent came out to the security "me standing over here isn't going to make the line go faster is it" which in defense on the securities side, wasn't needed to be said but what the security guard said disgusted me. He approached the customer with complete disrespect and mocked him for making for comment then said I don't need that and disgustingly told him to go shop somewhere else..
