Came down today for a sky q remote costing £34. There was about 8 cards on the aisle say " if you want to buy me take me to a till" Which i did queued up while people with trolly full went through only to be told "dont have any". Whats the betting nobody removed those cards so another customer did not waste their time.

Many empty shelves, many items without prices, staff aren't provided with correct PPE,breach of Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Bad management attitude. I feel other shortcuts by Asda make this store unsafe. Latest visit saw fire extinguishers hidden behind stock.

Store is okay, it’s just another Asda, but my gripe is with the cafe. What’s the point of having a self-serve order kiosk if it’s “supposed to be off and you shouldn’t have ordered on it”? We were spoken to as if we’d turned it on ourselves! Maybe stick a “not in service” sign on it??

This store has greatly improved over the past few months. The shelves are well stocked and a great range of products at a competitive price. There are also always plenty of staff on hand at the self service tills incase there are any problems.

Outstanding staff and security guard today 23/10/25 at 3pm! I have a serious concussion from Sunday gone (they thought I'd fractured my skull, serious) but I really needed washing stuff for the washing machine and I didn't have anyone to go for me as I'm newish to the area. I felt fine to drive and Asda is literally 5 minutes or less drive away. I was fine driving and fine when I parked up. When I got out of the car I felt really really dizzy but thought I'd just got up fast. I grabbed a trolley to lean on and as I hit the doors I realised this wasn't just vertigo and I needed to sit down before I passed out. I told the security guard who got me a chair instantly and called for first aid trained staff to come and help. The lovely staff asked me if I've eaten to which I said I'd actually forgotten to eat again today and asked me what sandwiches I eat and got me a bottle of water. I asked how much I owe and they said nothing. I explained I didn't want to steal (I'm neurodivergent and they were so kind with this too) and they informed me it's not stealing if they give it to me and then the security and the two staff members stayed with me for up to an hour (one had to leave near the hour mark but the other two were able to stay) one had actually clocked out at 3pm and stayed all the way til I was okay to get up. They even grabbed the two items for my washing machine for me and then paid with my phone and walked me to my car and had a chat at the car to make sure I was okay. It was such a lovely experience and made me feel so safe and included, especially with my conditions I'm often frowned upon, by people. I honestly couldn't ask for better staff members here and it's made me feel so at home because I had this bond with my old superstore Asda where I used to live 200 miles away for four years and was so sad and anxious to leave because it was always a safe space for me with my bad anxiety. But this Asda has proved that yet again, they hire some amazing staff members. (As everywhere you can't say that EVERYONE is amazing and I can't say I haven't had a bad experience over my assistance dog with a higher staff member a month ago, but it's nothing I've not had and sorted out before with their higher ups. This doesn't stop me using this Asda or commending those who deserve it.) Unfortunately I don't have the names of the staff but they see me regularly and know me and my lad but I wish there was a way to get them all a pay rise or something sorted from their head office for their help, understanding and their compassion while they waited and listened to me talk for an hour about stuff. If anyone knows how, please can you let me know (I know Asda employees can reply so maybe that way?)

Although it's big and easy to get in and out of I have given it 3 stars as I find their prices high as they are just matching Tesco and that includes the petrol.

Very poorly stocked shelves Very few checkouts working but 5 happy to help on self scan standing talking to each other, won't be shopping there again if this is how they treat the customers

Visited the cafe today. The cafe was very busy (half term, so was expected). The staff was run off their feet. Was told there was a 20 minute wait (which was ok). The staff member brought out our food and said she was going back for our pancakes. When I asked if there was another meal on the way. She snapped at me and said yes I’m getting it now. When she brought it. I said to her that I didn’t appreciate the way she spoke to me and said I was only asking a question. She then turned away from me and said oh shut up. I followed her back to the counter and asked for a manager. She asked me why and I said because she’d told me to shut up. To which she denied. This was heard by my child and other customers in the cafe. While waiting for the manager I bit Into my chicken burger and it was still frozen in the middle. Julie the cafe manager came to talk to me and couldn’t apologise enough and gave me a full refund. She told me the other lady was also called Julie and that it was the second time the oven hadn’t cooked something today and that she would be having words with her.

Just to say thank you for the attentive service I received last Friday. Charlene and Christine in particular for their positive attitude and knowledgeable advice when I couldn't find something on the shelves. I'll be back!
