   I normally love John Lewis. Not so today. The queue on gents floor was lengthy as expected, but the slowness of staff on tills was frustrating. No urgency here! Then went for a bite to eat and the queue was achingly slow in the restaurant. Considering I was number 4 in line, I watched the queue grow and grow. Only 2 staff on this busy counter at prime time. They were fire fighting and doing their best. Took an age to get coffee and cake. This was the last Saturday trading before Christmas and was a poor experience. Sorry John Lewis. Must do better.

   John Lewis is a great store that will price match items they sell with other retailers, but you may need to price match what you are purchasing, as they don't always do it! A large range of televisions and other audio visual items. Computers, printers, tablets, mobile phones and accessories . Men's, women's and children's clothing. Toys, games, kitchen accessories and white good appliances (Fridges, freezers, washing machines etc). Beds and bedding, the list is endless. They also have both a coffee bar and a cafe that serves drinks and meals. And the staff are always very helpful to you, no matter what the situation.

   Trustworthy to rely on Sue when shopping for smart wear. On my first two occasions she went the extra-mile working beyond her contractual hours to see to it I left a happy customer. Was graced by Kate’s care as well - good to be accompanied by people who know what they’re doing, makes the experience feel like time well spent. Passion and Professionalism is undeniable- definitely recommend, thanks guys.

   Commendation for Outstanding Kindness and Compassion – John Lewis Partnership Delivery Team On Friday, my 82-year-old father was completing what he proudly called his “final lawn cut of the season” when he unfortunately fell, sustaining significant facial bruising and finding himself unable to get up. Alone and distressed, he called out for help. By remarkable good fortune, two John Lewis Partnership delivery drivers were making a delivery nearby in Mansfield Woodhouse. Upon hearing his calls, they immediately came to his aid — lifting him carefully to his feet, ensuring he was steady, and accompanying him safely back into his home. Their actions were not only quick-thinking but deeply compassionate. These two individuals demonstrated exceptional care, empathy, and professionalism — going far beyond the expectations of their roles to assist an elderly gentleman in real need. As a family, we wish to extend our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to these outstanding members of the John Lewis team. Their conduct reflects the very highest standards of humanity, integrity, and service that the Partnership is known for. My father is currently recovering in hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. We are truly comforted knowing that people like your drivers still exist — willing to step forward, without hesitation, to help a stranger in distress. On behalf of our entire family, please accept our profound thanks and appreciation for their extraordinary kindness that day. They are a credit to themselves, their colleagues, and to the John Lewis Partnership.

   I like come here, because John Lewis is one of my favorites shop, today there's a strong festive atmosphere everywhere, and the shops are also discounted in advance. John Lewis is a department store, it provide excellent quality products and provides excellent service as well for all customers.

   Very big store. My 5 year old daughter and I were looking at the directory to find something. A girl approached us to offer us help in finding what we were looking for and directed us to the section in the store immediately. Very helpful. Though, if I did a more thorough look over of the immediate area, I would have spotted the section as well. There is a decent selection of toys. My daughter was having fun looking at all the toys that were in stock and comparing them to the toys we already have. I ended up buying what I was looking for. Overall, a good store.

   This is an Excellent shop. Where would Nottingham be without it. Very happy with a beautiful blind that was made for me, and delivered, in only 1 week. Just perfect. V experienced staff, helpful, and a lovely shopping experience. Shops well laid out and in particular the material, habidashery, curtains, blinds department couldn't recommend more highly.
