   Attempted to make a booking using booking dot com, made a booking for the required 5 rooms for two nights on a free cancellation and pay at the property basis, only to be told the next day by Innkeepers Central Reservations (not booking dot com) that unless I paid a 10% non-refundable deposit, signed a contract, and settled all 5 rooms 28 days before the stay they would cancel the booking. Customer service themselves could not have cared less, and simply said its that or cancel. So I cancelled. I have stayed here before using the same booking methods for the same time, and have found it to be entirely acceptable, no complaints at all. However, this behaviour is completely punitive and unnecessary, and is also underhand as they hide that they will do this to you deep in the terms and conditions - AFTER you have made the booking they decide they will chase you down and attempt to enforce these bad faith terms. Whilst I appreciate that this is not directly the fault of or being caused by this establishment, it is the only location that any form of feedback can be left in the public domain. A shame that businesses are not even slightly interested in listening to their customers and are simply using a "computer says no" mentality. Will not be returning to this establishment or chain, and will make sure that I share this experience too.

   Stayed one night at The Springfield Inn in a double room, number 5. Lovely and quiet room with a view overlooking the garden. The bed was just how I like it and the pillows so comfortable, so I slept soundly. Breakfast was served quickly and was tasty. Didn't catch the name of the lady (sorry) who checked me in and then who served me for breakfast but she was lovely, chatty, and welcoming. Will definitely go back if in that area again.

   Had a great stay here, was just down the road from a wedding venue we attended so location was great for our use case. In the morning the server gave me a free breakfast for my birthday as we went to pay which started the day off great. Truly great service.

   From arrival to checkout excellent customer service provided by the manager and staff in the restaurant both in the evening (big shout out for Daisy) and breakfast service. Food was delicious with plenty of choices, and a fabulous breakfast included too. Our room was very clean, heating easily adjusted to suit our preference, comfortable beds and pillows ensured a good nights sleep.

   We enjoyed a great stay. All the staff we encountered were friendly and polite. Our room was clean and comfortable. The pub was lovely and all the food we had (both dinner and breakfast) was excellent.

   We thought the pub was lovely, the rooms were spacious quiet, clean and a nice comfy massive bed! The staff were very friendly Food was excellent, the wife had the carvery, Brilliant, very tasty, I had Hunters chicken & chips, best i've had, Cask ales as well, who could ask for more? We had a great stay and would definitely come again, if only for the food.

   Lovely & comfy, nice clean room we literally only arrived late & was out early so didn’t dine or have breakfast but the room was lovely & spacious, tv worked properly & I enjoyed a cup of tea as a kettle & supplies were provided.

   Liked everything about the place. Nice stay and the food is really nice. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Had to leave early for work every morning. They gave me a full English in a takeaway that was really helpful. Thanks for my great experience I do recommend the place to anyone for food and sleep over.

   Great Staff! The food was average, Chicken Schnitzel wasn't great. The main gripe was that the whole place looked like it needed a good scrub - a lot if staining to the seating in the Resteraunt. The Room was okay, again heavily in need of a freshen up. The Shower Door came off in my hand - I did reattach it onto the runners easily enough - but let's be honest, of this happened to some people they would take to social media. The bed was comfy! Overall though, good location for what I needed, people make a place and the staff were nice.
