Submitted by query at around 10, had an appointment by 11:50. All was quick oin the day and the staff were all great, helpful and understanding. Referal advised and set up with the additional advice to get the issue sorted within a week.

I must say I felt very uncomfortable with the phone call I had with the FIRST receptionist I called this morning , I’ve asked her a question which she answered rudely and made me feel dumb , however her answer was WRONG to the question I did ask. When I called back another receptionist picked up and said a different answer . It shows the receptionist had lacked a lot of knowledge and had no respect , it doesn’t make me want to ask for advice again from this medical practice .

this GP practive singlehandedly disillusioned me from believing that the NHS could ever be used as a reliable service to access healthcare. Well done guys, you and your staff truly are awful. At least I can afford private practice going forward. The receptionists get so up in arms about having a blood test as if it comes out of their paycheck.

Since writing this review I was contacted by the team and they were incredibly understanding of my situation, incredibly friendly and sorted my a replacement prescription without me even asking. While the booking system may be irritating at times it has a reason to be the way it is. Shar especially was incredibly helpful and understanding. ............................................................................................................ I'm sorry but I can not understand why this place closes the patient triage service so quickly. I understand you must get a lot of requests but why not just let it become a waiting list? I don't mind having to wait a couple days or even a week for my request to be seen but that would be better than the situation I'm currently in where I have been unable to get in contact for over two weeks because I don't have the time in the morning to send in a request as soon as you open. I've now been off my medication for nearly two weeks because the difficulty of getting in contact is so high and it's not been set up as a repeat prescription yet. Besides that it's really not so bad at all but I truly don't understand why I have to race to be there the moment the lines open just to be able to speak to someone. Is this commonplace for all GPs now? I know the NHS is stretched thin but logistically it makes more sense to be to at least have confirmation I will be seen in the next couple days rather than having to gamble every morning if I've even made it in time for the practice to be open

I was forced to leave this practice after my Doctor of 40 years retired and I automatically moved to different practice. The service was so bad, they would only assess one issue per appointment, and the list just goes on. I moved back to Radford Road thinking it can't be as bad as my current practice. So far it's been fantastic. Doctors have been attentive, listened to me issues, made recommendation, at no point did they fob me off. I felt cared for, supported, safe and really left assured my best interest was in hand. I will me moving my family over to this practice as a result of their outstanding service. The only bad point I would make, and I think this goes for most GP Practice is, the Receptionists don't come across very professional and appear to lack consideration and respect.

They’ve been somewhat helpful for me in the sense sort of doing the barely the minimum but just feels like they don’t care about their patients and feels very unorganised as stuff I have talked about with them is completely forgotten next time I call. Very frustrating well I’m calling about an issue consistently and then I either get cut off before I finish my sentence or my query just gets swept under the rug. Very frustrating having to deal with my prescriptions here aswell so unnecessarily complicated

I’d really like to thank the two lovely women who helped me today. Ren and Lesley are a complete godsend!! I was having a nightmare with my prescription and they were both really reassuring that they could get me sorted as urgently as possible. I couldn’t thank them enough, especially being alone in a new city as a student can be daunting enough when there’s an issue, so it’s really comforting to have a friendly voice down the phone. They truly are a credit to the team, thank you so much again.

Working as a receptionist myself it is almost impossible to get through to the practice, I've had multiple times where I've run out of medication because I cannot get through for a medication review. This is getting absolutely ridiculous, I genuinely feel like they don't care at all, I've repeatedly had to stress how important it is that I don't stop my medication due to severe mental health issues and I take medication that makes me tired so getting up at 8am every morning just to TRY to get through for a review is nearly impossible. It feels like they don't care about their patients at all and I know I'm not the only person that is feeling like this

I have been a patient here for the last 2 years coming up. Before I was with rushcliffe Borough Council (if you think these are bad go with a doctors in ruscliffe.) and I had a serious phobia of going to the doctor's because of bad practise. It took me a very long time to move over to the city and to find a doctors that I relied on. I was a bit hesitant to start off with because of the reviews on Google. However it was the best decision that I have ever made. I understand the other people are unsatisfied with the service however my experience has been completely different and lifted my phobia of going to the doctor's. Sometimes it is hard to get through to the doctor's on the phone but I have been personally sat in the doctors when the receptionists have been there and have been answering the phone consistently for 20-minutes while I wait. I've always been made to feel at ease especially with the receptionist Emily. And as forgetting an appointment the appointment system I think is fantastic. Every doctor's should have this system however they don't. It has given me much more confidence to speak to the doctor about what is wrong with me. And very simple that it is done online. In the 2 years that I have been to the doctors I have been many times and there has only been once where they haven't rang me back that day. The doctors when they do ring me listen to everything I've got to say and deal with the situation promptly. I never write reviews however I believe that this surgery deserves a review in the care that I have received from them in the past 2 years. Would I recommend this surgery yes I would they are fantastic.

Absolutely disgusting service, can never get through on the phone and when you do appointments are always taken. Took my baby daughter in this morning with a temperature and whole body rash. Despite there only being three people in the waiting room I was sent away and told to come back at 4pm. Currently at A & E where I have been seen swiftly and even the doctors are shocked that I was sent away. If they do not have the capacity to see patients face to face they need to either stop taking them on or hire more doctors. With the exception of the midwife team, Never been a patient at such a poorly managed practice.
