   I have given 4 rather than 5 stars despite the excellent practice of therapists locally, because of the approach/practice of the national call centre which is left wanting. The business would I am sure run much more effectively if it made it's own appointments. The national call centre presents as very impersonal. Parking at my treatment facility is available and I've never had a problem.

   They are using the old companies contact lists for advertising, but not honouring payments made previously for treatments. They've gone bust once, owing a lot of money to a lot of customers. Do not give them large sums of money! Also bear in mind the finance company they use will not refund you if they go bust as it's not a "regulated finance agreement"

   The day started with multiple missed calls and no message left - upon enquiring nobody knew why. Once I arrived, my appointment was 20mins late, but this is better than normal for skin. The main reason for my negative review is the discomfort I sat through watching the staff belittle another customer. A customer was rightly upset that she had arrived and her appointment was cancelled without telling her, which is understandably an inconvenience, but is unfortunately to be expected from skin. She spoke very calmy while the receptionist said things like "what do you want me to do about it" and raised her voice at the customer to say "it's not my fault is it". I'll repeat that the customer remained very calm throughout this harassment, saying things like "I don't feel like you're acknowledging why I'm upset" (rightly too, I never heard anything close to an apology). The tipping point for me was after the customer left. I was still waiting for my late appointment when the staff went into the backroom, not closing the door all the way, and proceeded to mock the customer who had just been harassed by staff. This was incredibly unprofessional and made me feel not only highly uncomfortable, but also upset for the poor customer who had done nothing wrong other than attempt to use skins services. This wasn’t a lack of customer service, but more a lack of human decency.

   As always a lovely friendly greeting by the receptionist. Very easy checking in process and only a 5 minute wait before Cat took me through to the treatment room. Cat is so so friendly and caring and made the whole process very easy. She explained what she was doing every step of the way. I can’t thank her enough

   I have been going to this clinic a few times for salicylic skin peels. I have had 5 and one is still outstanding. I rang a few days ago for an appointment and the person I spoke to said my last one has been redeemed. I asked why but she said she didn’t know. She will get the clinic to call me. Has anyone called? No I also emailed them but no reply. Why is it difficult to get in touch with a customer? I’ve already paid for my treatment in advance. I’m really annoyed

   I had a minor surgical procedure done by one of the dermatologists, which I was a little nervous about. Everyone at the clinic was very helpful and reassuring, both at the time and when I dropped in to ask an aftercare question a couple of days after. It all went as well as I could have hoped and I would be very happy to go back there for any other treatments in the future.

   I went in for removal of two moles. The procedure went really well and both the doctor and the assistant were kind and attentive. The only thing was that the initial suture removal appointment I was given was 11 days after the procedure, which was a bit excessive. However, I had some concerns which I addressed and I was seen earlier and had a separate appointment scheduled for the following day to get the stitches removed (because I had healed). Overall, I'm quite happy with the service and the care I received. Special thanks to Nina, who did a great job listening to my concerns and acting very quickly to help me out.

   I'm writing this review because I've ran out of patience with this clinic. I originally attended for a free consultation with Sarah and arranged a pulsed dye laser test patch for rosacea flushing/blushing. I was told I'd need to pay £180 for a consultation with one of the doctors as well as £50 for the test patch. I paid the consultation fee and went to the appointment only to be told they wouldn't do the test patch because they thought there was nothing wrong with me. As far i remember, they still have my £50 and I've tried for literally months to contact the clinic via phone and email. There was always something wrong with their phones but today I got through to someone who put me on hold, then hung up while I was on hold. I phoned back and she apologized and said the Nottingham clinic manager would phone me in 15 minutes. The call never came and I've had enough. This on my blacklist and I regard the organization as incompetent money grabbers. What annoys me the most is that this is the only clinic in the area with a pulsed dye laser (IPL is useless, I've multiple treatments elsewhere)

   Popped in to ask a few questions about treatments, and had a very helpful conversation with reception. They were friendly and informative, and the reception was clean and welcoming. Also very understanding when I declined the treatment, without pressuring me to buy treatments I didn't want!
