A lovely Sunday lunch, second visit in the last few months, lots of veg too which was good. Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Beef, Pork, Roast Gammon and a veg options if you prefer all served with Yorkshire puddings, roasties and mash, with plenty of gravy.
Great Sunday lunch for only £9.99 but terrible service: board hadn’t been updated to show the current draft beers; warm Guinness 0% because the fridge hadn’t been restocked; ‘computer glitch’ meant only two of our four orders went through to the kitchen, so two of our party had practically finished eating before the other meals arrived. We ordered more drinks while we were waiting, it would have nice if these had been offered as complimentary as some kind of compensation. This is our second bad experience of eating here, which is a shame because it’s such a nice pub.

We had my son’s party here on Saturday night and everything was fantastic. From planning to execution everything was seamless. Lee was incredibly helpful and accommodating and the staff working the party were helpful, friendly and made sure we had the best night. We ordered food and the buffet was great, everyone commented on how good it was. Thank you so much for making sure we had the best night!
I did have fish and chips but I completely forgot to take a photo but as from my plate you can see it was lovely and would recommend. My parter had the pie and chips which once again she said was beautiful and would definitely eat again. Lovely traditional pub

Great selection of Lincoln Green beers. The pub itself had a great atmosphere and felt like a traditional pub. Nice one!
Great choice of beers to choose from, not tried the food yet, service is good with transport links close by tram train bus route all within 4 minutes walk
2nd time going in for food and i must say this has to be the best pub in Hucknall and my top 5 in Nottingham!! First time i had food was a steak which was cooked to perfection and the atmosphere was phenomenal :D !! Today i had a burger and omg i it was everything ( the sweet chilli sauce was a bonus!) Presentation spot on and food worth every penny so its worth the treat. Cheers guys
Booked in for Sunday lunch sadly waited nearly an hour before being served we had the lamb rolled in sausage meat stuffing, lamb was lovely but only a small amount of meat served and vegetables came separatley that were not very hot Sadly disappointed. Staff pleasant so I’m guessing the issue is in the kitchen.
