Lovely showers and bed, helpful service. Breakfast was ok but very repetitive. Only pain points are no fridge in room, and power socket so far away from bed. Good for business trip to Sherwood business park.

Didn’t last 2 minutes. Beds are so uncomfortable. Better off sleeping on floor. Hotel claimed you have big size flat screen tvs. TVs were old and small 25inch tvs. Bed was dirty. Stains on the floor aswell as sheets. I paid for the nicest room. ( Executive suite) Lady working in reception didn’t even care. Gave me refund straight away and I left within minutes.

Excellent service spent 4 nights here and was extremely well looked after. Food was excellent and you could tell every meal was made fresh. Special mention to Lewis & Freya I was made to feel very welcome and I thank you personally for the great service

I was a regular at this hotel. I visited at least twice a week and typically spent around £40 each time. The hotel itself has nice facilities, but it is completely let down by the behaviour of the manager. On one occasion, I ordered a steak (priced at over £45) and asked for it to be cooked medium rare. When it arrived, it was clearly well done. I politely went to the bar and said, “Do you mind changing this for me please, as it’s more well done than medium rare?” For a meal at that price point, you’d expect it to be prepared correctly. Instead of simply rectifying the issue, the manager stormed over in her heels, brought the plate back with the waiter, and began lecturing me in front of other diners. She told me the steak was cooked correctly, insisted I was wrong, and said she would change it “but only as a favour.” She even started poking the steak with her fingers at the table rather than handling the situation professionally. The other guests sitting nearby were visibly shocked at how she spoke to me, with one even commenting, “Did she really just speak to you like that?” I later approached her privately to ask why she felt the need to speak to me in such a condescending manner — as if I were a schoolchild — and instead of resolving the matter, she barred me from the premises. For a place with such potential, it’s no wonder it’s for sale. A good manager can elevate a hotel, but a rude and dismissive one will run it down — and unfortunately, that’s exactly what’s happening here.

Hotel was a random find and we had no knowledge of the area before booking. The hotel itself is great. The room are well appointed and extremely clean, especially the bathroom. High quality towels and the bed was great. The location is away from most places, nowhere to walk to for food. You can rely on takeaway or the hotel restaurant. I only used the restaurant for breakfast. The breakfast itself was good, buffet style. Only thing of note was the sausages. Strange tasting and extremely solid, edible, but not good. Everything else was great, especially the bacon. All in all I will visit again.

We booked and paid in advance for the afternoon tea on Mother’s Day. When booking it was made clear that it would we were bringing our 2 children. When we arrived the service staff were very rude and said they had no idea the children would be coming. We explained that we had booked them on but the staff were still unreasonably rude. They even said we wouldn’t be able to order the kids a bowl of chips! I understand if we had turned up with extra guests without letting the restaurant know but this was a miscommunication on their end. Also being spoken to like that on Mother’s Day with my son in my arms was quite shocking. The restaurant wasn’t busy at the time of our booking. We felt very unwelcome and what was meant to be a nice afternoon for Mothers Day with our children turned out to be really disappointing.

OK so, for the staff 100% friendly welcoming great hosts, the entrance is fantastic lovely decorated with very smart appearance with lovely Christmas decorations. 2 lifts and 2 door cards 1 for the power switch and 1 one for your persons entrance. Very good. Appearance of the room at glance is perfect looks really comfortable with a fold down dresser table with mirror. But not that impressed for 4 stars, lighting has been upgraded from halogen to LED and most of the fittings are not compatible to a point where the bedside lamp is very dim and the ceilings have gaps around the downlights where the plaster is missing which looks really tacky. The shower although looks nice from the outside, has rust on the spout so it pours rather than showers. And being careful when coming out of the shower is a big step down to the floor level and the only thing close is a very hot towel rail to grab hold of should you slip. This really needs improvement for safety of any guest. The carpet in the corridor is nicer than the carpet in the room I'm going to leave that there for others to decide on their thoughts. And I will say you are on an commercial estate so don't expect great views. I will say this they have a brilliant car park and as you can see in my pictures a good amount of room for my travelling companions who like I love to watch TV in bed. TV could be a bit bigger that's on personal opinion. And the most important to me was the bed and this part is not good, if you have a back like a plank of wood then that's perfect, me personally I love a softer mattress where it allows give for the curves of a gentleman's body to lay and get a good night's kip. Fortunately for me I brang my ponies with me so the plushies helped me a bit. Hence why I didn't stay the 2nd night and aborted my stay early, this made me more wanting my own bed and racing back home the same day. Oh and don't take your phone to bed either there's only one socket and that's on the dresser table. Now for the amount of money you can stay at Premier Inn for less than £130 and you get breakfast. This place is twice the amount, you get no breakfast and you could even be charged £10 for checking out early for me this is not good! And I have been to lots of hotels, for example an extra £40 will get you free parking, a fabulous room, a concierge, breakfast and a room overlooking Kensington Palace in London City! Iv never put a bad review but this my first ever and frankly I will not be going back nor will I recommend anyone going there.

The decor and design of the hotel is lovely, making it have a chic feel. However, on most occasions the main purpose of a hotel stay is to sleep - something I was unable to do because of the quality of the mattress (bed)! This stay was part of a celebration and I was included in a party of 8. The majority of my party said the exact same thing - how awful their sleep was. So much so that I went down to reception at 3:30am to ask if they had any better quality beds in different rooms. Unfortunately, I was informed that all their beds were the same. Many of the reviews on here say the exact same thing - the mattresses are like sleeping on concrete and this couldn't be more accurate! I tell no lie when I say that my back the following morning was in pain and continued to be for a few days after the stay. Based upon the purpose of staying at this hotel to sleep, this is something I absolutely WOULD NOT recommend to ANYONE and of course, I will never return.
