Used this kennel twice now for our Shiba, Kuma - once for a 2 night 'trial' as she's never been in a kennel, and the second for 6 days, and would highly recommend, especially as they are very used to the sass shiba's can bring! :) She's come back happy, healthy, walked and fed. Absolutely disappointing When i picked my 10 month old kitten up, he looked in a very rough way and it was really heartbreaking. I weighed him when I got home as he felt lighter and he dropped 0.2 kgs. His paws were dry and cracked as if being outside when we did mention that he is an indoor cat. The wet food in sachets was meant to be finished by the end of his stay but I got more than half back. He started to be sick the next day after picking him up and then started with a runny tummy 2 days later. We took him to the vet and they said he's got gastroenteritis with an elevated temperature. He had to have an injection and is now on antibiotics and probiotics. I have emailed the cattery and did not even get a reply which i am not surprised as during hes stay at the cattery I tried to call them numerous times to check on him but they didnt answer until the day I was due to pick him up. I'm not very happy with the service provided and won't be using/recommending this service to anyone.
This is the second time of us using Cottage Kennels for our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Kai. First time was for just over 2 weeks and this last time was for 1 week. On both occasions he returned very relaxed, happy & healthy. Would 100% recommend and will use again in the future.
Flossy has been boarding here for seven years now,she always comes home happy and contented,the owners are really dedicated to look after your pet,the kennels are lovely and clean,and the pets get plenty of exercise,
Loki stayed here for 10 days and its the first time we’ve ever left him so we were extremely anxious but there was honestly no need! When we arrived to collect him he was so happy and even cried as we drove away! Can’t thank you enough and we will 100% bring him back in the future :) definitely worth the 3 hour drive x
One of the best in telford is the biggest lie in human history. The disrespect received from this man was worrying. I have never experienced this in my life. All because i didn’t bring my dogs vaccination card when he should have photo copied it when i brought my dog 2 weeks ago! His wife was shouting at him saying the exact same thing on how he should have photo copied it. Highly recommend NOT taking your dog here. Shameful.
