⚠️I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. The service was terrible from start to finish—staff were unhelpful, rude, and showed no professionalism. To make matters worse, I believe I was scammed. I tried to get clarification, but I received no proper response. I would strongly advise caution before staying here, as it feels more like a scam than a reputable hotel, especially since they ask you to pay upfront so they can take your money and neglect you. Very disappointed and will not be returning.‼️

The worst hostel of my life! I would have been better off sleeping outside… Sleeping surrounded by cockroaches and homeless people, feeling the slats through the mattress, having a sore back for a week, and smelling cigarette smoke as soon as you enter… The showers are moldy and often unusable, the neighborhood is dangerous and far from the city center, and you can feel unsafe at any moment. The staff is completely unwelcoming. An experience to avoid at all costs.

Worst hostel experience I've ever had. The place is decrepit, absolutely filthy, there's bugs running around on the floors. I felt unsafe the entire time being there. It feels like people are going to rob you when you're sleeping. Random homeless people sleeping in the lobby The mattresses are OK, but the bunk bed frames are so incredibly poor quality. Every tiny move you make in bed will shake the whole frame and annoy the person above/below you. I got bitten by bed bugs... Zero privacy at all. The black girl at the check in desk was rude, unfriendly and mocking. Didn't even look me in the eyes or say thank you when I was polite to her and said thank you. Bathrooms are cleaned once a day seems like. Just look at the video... SHOCKING The corridors smell like smoke and weed. This place is clearly run purely for profit and the owners don't care about YOU This is one of the very few places that I can confidently say, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Try looking on Airbnb for a cheap alternative.

NOT RECOMMENDED for traveller! 1. Not safe! Strangers are around in hostel and even coming in to room late night. Some visitors are definitely homeless. 2. Not clean! Dirty bedding, Dirty kitchen, Broken lockers. 3. Not comfortable! Heatings are not working in toilet and room.

This is the most affordable hostel accommodation that I have stayed in Ireland and Northern Ireland. What I paid for one night in Dublin would pay for a 3-night stay here. The place is well run by a competent full-time manager and a team of volunteers. There are lots of smoking and non-smoking common areas to socialize. The kitchen is well equipped. The house is on Queens University campus, within walking distance to city centre and near bus stops and Botanic train station. I met wonderful backpackers in this hostel.

There was a huge mildew stain in the corner of my room and behind my bed. The bed was very uncomfortable and the bed cover was an old torn rag kind of thing. It was not possible to open the window, which was very dirty and moulding too. They didn't bother to remove the mildew there but just painted the whole frame black. No curtains or blinds to darken the room. Also there was a big hole in the wall above my friends bed. More than half of the showers were out of order, most of the time only one toilet was clean (only talking about the toilet itself, there were lots of yellow and brown stains on the walls and of course mildew in some corners). The corridors were very dirty but the common area was relatively clean. It had clean plates and cups, surprising for the state of the kitchen, so you could eat free breakfast. Breakfast consisted of cereals or toast. The bucket (!) of jam was empty, so the only option was toast with olive oil. People were nice.

Horrible. Pictures online are fake . The place doesn't look like that .Horror story. I booked a single room with shared bathroom expecting the pace to have a minimum of hygiene notions . Shocking. Room smells like a dog . Lobby smells like weed . The dirtiest place I have ever seen. The building is falling apart with no renovations. A smelly carpet peeling ofc covers the whole place. Stairs . Room . The kitchen is worth running away . Looks like if prisons had a shared kitchen. Bathrooms and showers as well. No cleaning. You find poop in the toilets and wet towels on the floor with dirt . Why worst experience ever .

This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed. It’s completely filthy and stinks. I was in a twelve bed room over filled. There were literally 2 people sleeping in beds because they lived here. There was someone in my bed when i checked in. They had no respect for anyone thinking they own the hostel. Coming in the room at all hours making all kinds of noise. Literally eating their meals in the room and not in the kitchen area. There was a huge argument with one of them and the staff at like 0345. Woke everyone up. I don’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Pay the little extra money and stay somewhere better. They literally don’t clean the bathrooms and have signs to basically keep it clean. Most of the people there are coming from third world countries so this to them is probably good living. It’s sad when you can’t take care of or respect the area you stay. Maybe this is their culture, however no matter what culture I know you know respect. That’s universal.

Easily the dirtiest and most sketchy hostel I have ever stayed in. Kitchen has only two working stove tops that need a lighter to light, lighter gas was out and the staff never bought a new lighter. You would have to wait ages to cook your food because there where only two working stoves. There is not kitchen towels for drying so all the dishes stay wet. I went to use a cutting board and there was still raw meat on it. Knives are so blunt that I couldn’t even cut vegetables, this is super unsafe. People are my food even when it was clearly labeled. The bathrooms are disgusting and the water pressure is very poor. The temperate changes from boiling hot to freezing cold and there is no dry bench to put your stuff. A lot of the people staying there didn’t know hostel etiquette, twice some man answered a phone call at 6:30am and another would watch videos at full volume at like 7:00am. There is mould in both the kitchen and bathroom and staff are extremely unhelpful and rude. Do not stay here!
