Rooms are super clean and the overall design of the internals is beautiful. The service was friendly and helpful. And location could not be better! I'm blown away by how close not only all the necessities are, but also the huge selection of small niche stores are. I love this place.
Great place to stay. Rooms brand new and very modern and comfortable. Good wifi. There is no hotel car park ( which acceptable from city centre hotel), but plenty of public car parks around.I was unlucky to have some business storage beside my window, so no spleen from 4:30. The Gentleman on reception spoke with someone on phone on arrival, so I have to wait around 10 mins for checking in.
I have just returned home from a pre booked meal by my daughter for my birthday and my sons birthday, to say we were disappointed is an understatement. We both ordered the Xmas dinner and my son the sunday roast. The Xmas dinner have looked nothing like your promotional pictures. The minute piceses of carrot were a disgrace for a supposedly 5* restaurant. The one slice of turkey and the very over cooked ham followed. The dryest dinner i have had. All 3 adults ordered a drink which was quickly brought but not one person came near our table to ask if we were happy or needed another drink etc. Our dinner plates were removed and that was that we sat for at least 15min waiting to oder deserts and drinks but NOPE!!!! not one member of staff came near us. My daughter had to go to the bar to pay the bill. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK AND WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING TO ANYONE.
currently here on business for 3weeks, stayed here before, the rooms are brilliant and the food is fantastic. But i have to mention William, he is front of house and cannot do enough for you, as soon as you enter the building this guys is here to help. he is professional and always has a smile on his face. from checking in to sitting down for a meal to checking out he cannot do enough. he is a credit to the company
We were 2 adults and a kid stayed 2nights in their Apartment. Apartment is nice and spacious with proper kitchen. We were told that a sofa bed will be provided in the apartment in addition to a double bed, during booking. However when we checked in, there was sofa but not a made up sofa bed neither the additional duvet or pillows provided. The phone in the room to reception wasn't working. It was late night and we were very tired to do the long walk back to reception to complain about it. So, one person didn't get good sleep that night. On the next day after complaining, a single bed was provided. No breakfast included in the price. Buffet breakfast is average. You have to pay for parking. Reception is at the middle of a bar with loud music, which I wasn't very impressed. Overall, not worth the money.
Called in for a catch up and a few drinks with a good friend on a wednesday afternoon. Looked after so well by all staff, but especially Amy and Lucy. They were so attentative to us, and others sitting around us. So polite and helpful. We didn't even need to get up from our table to order. Thank you girls!
Lovely hotel and amazing food!! We really enjoyed our experience and atmosphere was pleasant - the food was amazing, plenty of choice, nice selection of cocktail and we were really impressed by it! We will certainly be back !
Two words - loved it. Such a friendly and helpful team. Big comfortable beds, AMAZING shower. Great food. Only think I would add would be some robes and slippers in the room. Incredible value for money, in the south it would cost three times the price!
Stayed here for 1 night, room was lovely very clean had dinner at the Hotel is was really lovely, breakfast was a bit of a let down got our coffee and then breakfast came about 15 min later not much of a choice. Hotel has no parking space but there is a car park across from the hotel it said it was £6 for the night but we got charged £10.
Visited Haslem with a group of friends for a birthday dinner. Food was excellent and staff friendly. Live music was just the right volume without being overwhelming. Cocktails were amazing. Would recommend.
