   Rodger was a fantastic host, he couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly, hospitipal or helpful! He checked us in, went through the policy's and procedures. The cottages are absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. He brought coffee, milk and cookies. He ensured we were able to get a taxi into Belfast for the evening. We stayed as a group of 5 adults and it was very comfortable. We will definitely be staying again on our next trip!

   The cottage was very clean, and the beds were nice and cosy. There's a fun patio area just outside the first 3 cottages with loads of seating, a huge table for parties, and a jacuzzi if you want to use it. The owner is incredibly nice and accommodating as well, and I would definitely recommend staying here. My only concern when I was there was that we weren't given the key for our front door. We were given the keys for our individual rooms, but as a person with a little bit of anxiety, I wish we had gotten a key to the front door. But the area is quite safe, so there isn't really a cause for concern, and you can lock your bedroom door (like I did) if you're of anxious disposition like me.

   We just had the best weekend at Flatfield House for our hen group of 36 people. We had a festival themed hen & the venue could not of been more perfect. Roger & Mark were extremely helpful throughout the whole day as you can imagine arranging a hen for 36 is not easy but they made it so much easier, they had the venue decorated & set up lovely, with disco lights & flowers & allowed us to decorate too. They provided an excellent speaker, it was far superior then mine so it allowed for us to be dancing late into the night. Fair play to the guys they made every single person the pizza of their choice, hand made & they were delicious. The accommodation was beautiful each room has its own personality. We had a full cooked breakfast the next day which definitely helped cure a few sore heads. Could not be more grateful to the guys for being so friendly & easy to work with & making our Hen feel so special. Will definitely return & would advise anyone doing a big hen to reach out. Nothing was too difficult for them. Thank you so much

   We spent a day & night at the beautiful Flatfield house for a hen party of 15 people. There are a few cottages beside each other (extremely clean and comfortable), and outside a covered area with a stove and couch and tables where we did a paint & Prosecco activity, while Roger brought us out surprise cheese boards. Roger also cleared out a space in his interior design studio where we did a laughter yoga class, and in the morning he used the same space to provide us with a superb breakfast. He even organised taxis for us to Belfast. It was a seamless package of amazing standard in a location that is just great for the soul.

   My friends and I stayed at Flatfield House after being out for a formal, we had only booked to stay one night and paid a deposit of £300. On arrival Roger ( the owner ) told us that we had the place to ourselves and we were ok to make as much noise as we wished. My group were up until about 4am in the morning at which time the elderly mother of the owner decided to enter the house we had paid for unannounced and start cleaning, this made a lot of people very uncomfortable. As well with this at about 9:15AM I was woken up by the same elderly woman standing over me and my friend who was also in the room. Turns out she had already started stripping the sheets off the beds even though check out time was 10AM. At this point roger had told us we would be losing our deposit of £300. Reason being there was a bit of alcohol that had been spilt on the bed linen. £50 had also been deducted because a friend had supposedly stayed in the wrong bed, meaning he would have to buy a brand new set of bed linen opposed to putting it in the wash. We were also charged an extra £30 for the old woman to clean the kitchen at 4 in the morning. Once we had got our parents involved he began to criticise their parenting skills and said if we were to leave a bad review he "shall take them up for slander". Roger is refusing to discuss the matter anymore as the knows he is in the wrong. We are going to give notice to all property rental sites Roger uses to inform them about his dodgy business. Please avoid at all costs.

   Excellent place set in the peaceful countryside. Our host was very welcoming and even gave us a complimentary room upgrade, which made a big difference. The rooms are beautifully designed and the beds are super comfortable. I would definitely recommend this!
