   Edited for response: The reply from Key One hopefully illustrates the kind of hostile and combative attitude that I took issue with in my original review. My review was posted after a 4-year tenancy ended. We were not refused another let, nor did we leave the property in poor condition, quite the opposite (in fact, we received our full deposit back from the landlord with no issue whatsoever.) At no stage did I suggest that Key One had withheld payments from our landlord, I merely added that we requested receipts (which is normal when paying large sums and a basic consumer entitlement.) If they have £1,000 to spare then I'd suggest spending that on customer services training or a PR consult :) Original review: I'm not surprised that the majority of positive reviews for Key One seem to be from landlords and not tenants. When we leased a property through Key One in 2019, we were issued with what they termed a "data protection" agreement which stipulated that we "must not make any statements about us whether verbally, orally, on the internet, or whatever other means which are derogatory or negative in any way" and also attempts to impose a £50 fine for posting anything about them online. (I'll add that we did not sign this document, and having taken legal advice on it, I'm happy to post this review. If they no longer issue tenants with agreements like this one then hopefully they can weigh in.) My wider experience with Key One as a letting agent was not positive; we had multiple issues with errors in contract paperwork, very difficult communication one staff member in particular, and they weren't readily forthcoming with receipts for payments we made during the initial letting when I repeatedly asked for them. Thankfully our landlord managed the rest of the tenancy themselves and we found them more reasonable and easier to communicate with.

   Absolutely fabulous service from Key One Property Services. Couldn’t be more helpful with my recent rental experience. The staff are so professional and kept me up to date at all times. I’ve had previous disappointment whilst using other property services in Belfast but Key One are a cut above the rest.....would highly recommend them to others.

   Thank you Key One Property for the superb service over the years. I can 100% recommend Key One to any new client. They did so much more to look after my properties than any other agent and focus on giving me the best return. As for the negative reviews that you may read, well one was from a tenant of mine that Key One dealt with swiftly and efficiently as they caused damage. Key One recovered all the money from the tenant which is why they left a bad review. Landlords and good tenants are safe with Key One.
