Awful experience today. Was told they had my prescription so walked all the way there to be told they've not got it. One of the 'ladies' in there was rude from the outset. Felt almost as if I was inconveniencing her. Absolutely shocking

Very poor service this morning. Pharmacist very unhelpful and made me feel very uncomfortable. Will not be using this Pharmacy again in the future.

After several decent years, this pharmacy is now in the toilet, made worse by lying to customers about their prescriptions. Like many other chain pharmacies, Peak Pharmacy has switched to a central distribution model, meaning prescriptions now take longer to complete as the prescription requests must be sent to central processing, picked, packed, and then returned to the pharmacy. Cue my experience today. My prescription was issued by the surgery on Tuesday 6th. The in-pharmacy medication was received on the 7th. The central processing medication was dispensed on the 8th. When picking up the medications today, my wife was told they didn't have anything. I went back at about half five, and initially was told the prescription had been sent over but they don't have the medication. When I asked why they haven't got the medications, the counter staff asked somebody in the back area, and sure enough they had the medications but they hadn't got around to checking them. While waiting for my medication to be checked another customer was given part of their prescription order, and when they queried where the rest was, they were told the pharmacy didn't have it yet. Upon pushing to check, they did have the rest of the order, it had been checked, and was in a box to the side of the counter area, waiting for pickup. Another guy came in to collect his medication and was initially told there was no prescription, when he countered that the prescription was filled and sent at the beginning of the week, they found the prescription on the computer, and the medication. Previous lies I've been told included "Your GP surgery hasn't sent the prescription over" (they magically found it when I immediately called the surgery who confirmed the prescription was issued two days prior), and "We haven't received your medication because there is a national shortage and our suppliers are out of stock" (that was retracted after I called the pharmaceutical (Grunenthal) who stated there was absolutely no issue with stock levels... The medication had in fact been delivered, they just hadn't got around to checking the delivered medicines). I have already changed my elected pharmacy, and I wouldn't recommend Peak Pharmacy to anybody.

**DIRE - REGISTER ELSEWHERE** I've been going to this pharmacy for the last 2 years, and I've tried to be patient with them, and always gave them the benefit of the doubt when things weren't ready, but today I've decided to switch to a different pharmacy because my patience has finally run out. This is the most disorganised pharmacy you can imagine. No system in place for preparing prescriptions. It doesn't matter when you leave the prescription with them, when you go back to collect it on the day they tell you to, its never ready - they run around putting it together and only then discovering items aren't in stock and have to be ordered. It happens every single time, and at first I did try to give them the benefit of the doubt (maybe it was just a busy week for them, maybe some other excuse). Today was the last straw. Went in to collect a prescription which I'd taken to them on Wednesday last week and had been told to come back the next day to collect it. Went back the next day (Thursday) and was told it wasn't ready but I could collect it after 4.30pm. I couldn't make it after 4.30pm and on the Friday I was out of town, so I hoped when I went in this morning, having given them the extra 24 hours (Friday) to make sure it was ready, I'd be able to sail in and collect it. Not a chance! As usual nobody greeting customers on entry... queue of 4 people , nobody came to the front desk for 10 minutes... half an hour waiting to be spoken to only for the woman to then go off and 'look for' my prescription. Heard them talking to another staff member who said 'oh that came in on Friday and I put it somewhere'. Then the lady came back to me and lied saying - oh that's only just come in, can you come back later and get it? I told her I'd heard her colleague admit it had come in on Friday and she'd put it somewhere, and her answer was 'yes but we don't work Saturdays. Remember, this was for a prescription I'd already been told to come back at 4.30pm on Thursday to collect. If it had only happen once, you'd pass it off as a single bad experience, but in 2 years of collecting medicines there, it is always the same - they wait for you to show up to collect and then they stroll around 'looking for' the prescription. Utterly useless and need someone with organisational skills and a customer service head to go in there and shake them up. DIRE!

It's a shame we cannot give zero stars. Almost 10 minutes waiting for someone to serve me despite there being 8 members of staff in the building. In that time I was able to establish that two of these staff just seemed to be doing nothing but playing hide and seek and three of them were stuck in conversation about - of all things - shops that they or their family members were banned from entering. When you employ people of this ilk, it's hard to believe that anything gets done at all. To be acting and talking in such a way in the view and earshot of customers is truly shocking. When someone did eventually serve me it was clear that she did not actually want to. Going to a pharmacy should not be an experience worth reviewing online.

Needed my persciption as suffering with anxiety, very helpful staff who contacted the suppliers to make sure they would deliver as soon as possible, rang later on and asked if the delivery had arrived, and thankfully it had come. I know they are busy, but like everywhere else, just give them time and a little patience.

They dont answer phones which isn't good more so cus I needed a sharps container and they were not answering.this isn't the first time I've had problems when ringing up.or they telling me collect medication and noone as done it.i walked up to the chemist and they stood there chatting completely ignoring the phone.this is not acceptable this is why I'm writing this review or they will lose custom..

.The counter staff and pharmacist were lovely, however the DISPENSER IN THE BACK (older woman with dyed blond bob) was very rude and more or less said that they didn't have time to help me as they were 'too busy'. Horrible! Quite upsetting.

Nice place, very convenient as its opposite the Park surgery doctors. Staff are always nice and friendly and always make time to talk to you about your medication if you need help or advice. Only issue is slightly long wait times, but they do get pretty busy.
