The worst customer service I have experienced. This pharmacy was recommended to me as a place that can prescribe antibiotics as they are linked to the pharmacy first scheme. I have had a persistent cough and have had this more than once to know it is a bacterial infection. I do not have a car so called ahead of going to check the pharmacy will a) see me and b) have the ability to provide antibiotics for my bacterial infection after examination. The owner of the pharmacy said I donβt want to waste your time but if itβs a chest infection I wonβt give you antibiotics (if a pharmacy is part of the Pharmacy First scheme they are entitled to) and he also said βunless you have white spots on your tonsils and meet every single tick box and check of an infection I wonβt give you them, even if you clearly have over more than half and we can see itβs a bacterial infectionβ! A very poor customer experience with the owner diagnosing me without asking me any questions and already deciding Iβm not entitled to antibiotics without reviewing me and my symptoms. Do not recommend.

Went in with a swollen face and ear due to an ear infection and asked if I could be seen. The assistant took a small payment (which I was more than willing to pay), and guided me to a little private room. I didn't have to wait long before the pharmacist came in and honestly, he was extremely helpful, empathic and kind. He explained what the problem could be, offered a reasonable option of calling 111 so I wouldn't have to pay for antibiotics privately and was very gentle. Recommend them ten times over. Thank you so much :)

The female pharmacist is rude unapproachable unsympathetic and generally lacks empathy. On numerous occasions with the most recent visit being today. I felt that she feels she is doing us a favour being there and that gives her the right to have such a rude and poor customer service. She isn't interested in face to face helping customers with health advise etc. She to superior for providing that service as she as a degree etc and mixing with the public is beneath her. The assistants even look nervous to approach her for whats best for the customer they are dealing with. She seriously needs to get off her pedestal

I was very fortunate to have been looked after by the pharmacist when struggling with a UTI after hours. He saw me at 8:55pm just before the store closed and was able to check my symptoms and provide antibiotics quickly and with care. There was no rush and he was polite and explained everything despite it closing time. Thank you. It is near impossible to get hold of my GP so I am very grateful for the pharmacy first service and Medina's extended hours, both helping me get sorted a lot quicker than if trying the GP

The pharmacist was filling in claims for free prescriptions on my behalf when I was not eligible, which potentially makes me liable for penalty fees. I would have much preferred them to contact me to ask me to purchase a new prepayment certificate, or clarify that I was eligible for free prescriptions before claiming them on my behalf. Aside from that issue, their service was reliable.

Never again! I received a phone call it appears to double check who the patient was ie there appeared to be suspicion about the repeat prescriptions. On one occasion when dealing with the prescriptions, I was given the 'up and down stare', it appeared to be juidgemental. On another occasion, the staff appeared to be disorganized and I heard one staff member telling off another and on my FINAL visit, I was told that my doctor needed to be telephoned, (suspicions again!)....despite the same repeat prescriptions and then on that very same visit, one medication was left out and when it was queried the staff member quickly grabbed it and gave it to me, with no questions asked. Odd that. Medina Pharmacies overall has a good reputation but for me the way I was treated as a carer and a customer, this particular pharmacy is definitely not for me and this applies to the rest of the chain too.

Excellent service. Staff helpful and timely. Opening times suitable for those who work unsocial hours. Cannot praise highly enough.

I used to go to the other one. Up until I started having regular prescriptions it was fine. They're always open 7 days a week 365 days a year. They only close over night. But Monday through Saturday that's about midnight and Sunday and bank holidays it's 8pm. I don't know any other pharmacy that does that. Edit: Sept 2022 It's going down hill quicker than a man falling from a plane without a parachute. Got a Prescription from doctors Friday. Go Saturday to pick it thinking they'll order anything on it don't have, did they?... Did they F@ck need the missing item for Sunday. Really contemplating leaving this once excellent and efficient chemist!

Poor service and rude. Spoken to them 3times in the last 24 hours. Couldn't be bothered to ring care home to say the script came in 15 minutes after I rang to check they had it. When they knew patient was struggling with pain. Told me to ring 111. They had received it but left it until the next day.
