   I love a good film and this authentic old-fashioned cinema didn't disappoint I went as part of the Belfast Film Festival and the staff were so kind and helpful. The prices for the drinks, sweets and popcorn are all reasonably priced and definitely better than the mainstream chains. Support your local cinema and independent movies.

   Quite a fun cinema, as it has been around for a very long time and showcases an exhibition of cinema history inside. Watched 'Empire of Light' here, which was quite apt given the subject matter of the movie. I would recommend The Stran as an alternative to the mainstream commercialised cinema options.

   A friend higher a screen for a private viewing....who knew!!! And we had a magical afternoon just before Christmas watching It's a Beautiful Life. A great idea for a special occasion to get friends and family together. Staff and surrounds were excellent. Very comfy seating.

   Had a wonderful evening with my Mother (84yrs young). We went to see BELFAST in the UNIQUE STRAND. What a great place to watch this brillient film that awakened both our memories, good and bad. I always love going here but this time it was absolutely the right place to sit beside like-minded people in the heart of Belfast. I REALLY CAN'T RECOMMEND ENOUGH THAT EVERYON'E SHOULD GO VISIT THE STRAND' before it no longer looks like this. Take a look at my photo's - I especially love their Carpet!
