It's a good cinema with decent prices, the popcorn there is delicious and a decent size for a decent price whereas different cinemas can be way overpriced. I just wish they could add open caption/subtitles for those who are hearing impaired/deaf like me. Overall always decent staff and sometimes seats are comfortable depending on which screen yoy enter as some screen areas still have old seats.

I have been going to this cinema for a lot of years now and I have to say, it keeps getting better every time I come here, the popcorn is tasty, the staff are friendly and the seats are comfortable. Will definitely be back in the future

Amazing venue. VIP seats. Very comfortable. We had cinema to ourselves. Great night out for us.

I went to a late screening and afterwards ended up having to spend my long wait for a taxi home surrounded by rowdy drunks, broken glass and pools of vomit. Will know not to do that again. Gross. Seats were uncomfortable too with glaring lights during the film.

I have a membership with another cinema but would still call in here if they were showing something somewhere else wasn't. Movie House has the best seats, I miss those recliners at my usual place.

Great cinema that shows a great variety of films, and the seats are recliners! However, there were people sitting beside me vaping which was gross, then they were laughing at inappropriate parts of the film which confused me, so when the film was over I discovered they had sneaked big bottles of WKD in so they were probably drunk. If the screens were monitored better I feel like this would act as a deterrent for this behaviour.

Visited this cinema as we had a free movie pass and free popcorn and drinks, We did have a slight problem with the ticket barcode but this was sorted by the manager very quickly, The staff where so friendly and as my wife needed disabled access to get upstairs the staff sorted it out from the lift to not having to climb stairs it was fantastic, The staff really where professional and we'll mannered at all times, The cinema has great recliner seats which were so comfortable and also had drinks holders, We were shown to our seats again by a very nice staff member who was also well mannered, I would have no hesitation in recommending this cinema complex for a very enjoyable film viewing, Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic evening, We will definitely be returned.

Good selection of snacks. Ice cream and coffees. They are now they are able to sell alcohol as well. As always with cinemas it’s just a shame how pricey everything is. Child’s ticket costs the same as an adult. They do autism screenings which is great but as always with these types of things they are at early morning or at times when they would not usually have anyone in anyway and while I think it’s a good thing I do feel it’s just more monetisation for the cinema.

Been twice recently to the VIP seats at Movie House City Side. First to see Spider-Man and then Lion King. I was very impressed by the VIP seating, definitely better for me due to having fibromyalgia and a bad back. It made going to the cinema a much more pleasurable experience. My only concern would be that it got very cold both times - possibly because it wasn’t a packed room. Also at Lion King there were too many toddlers running around (x3 right beside us) 2hr film is not suitable for that age group so it ruined the experience for us with what should have been an epic movie. We were there with a 6 year old. It won’t put me off going again but I would like to see parents with small children reconsider whether or not it’s fair for other people who have paid to deal with your child running up and down the aisle, screaming and chattering and interrupting and disturbing other people while you do nothing :(
