We attended as a family for a Christmas Eve treat to see Gremlins. The cinema itself is beautiful and very comfortable. Although during the film we seemed to have alternated air con and heat meaning at times it was freezing. We got 3 large mixed popcorns and drinks. A pepperoni pizza and festive fries. My son enjoyed his pizza. My husband said the fries were average. All of us ordered a large salted/sweet mixed popcorn and we all barely touched it. It was ridiculously salty and had barely any sweet popcorn in there. It was virtually inedible and quite stale. We ordered a hot chocolate each before going into our screen and paid £3.75 each for a tiny disposable paper take-out cup (even though we were seated in the bar area). It reminded me of a hot chocolate you would get from a machine. I was at least expecting a proper cup and a decent sized drink for the price. Even dare I suggest it.. a marshmallow or 2? I paid £104 for 3 cinema tickets, 3 x 330ml drinks, 3 popcorns, 3 tiny hot chocolates and a small portion of fries and a small pizza. While the staff member who took our order was friendly, all of the staff milling about the foyer (we counted approx 20 staff at one point) did not approach my husband to help him when he was stood at the bar looking a bit lost and wanting to order. 1 person who was the greeter at the door desk seemed to be doing everything whilst the rest of the copious number of staff stood chatting. We were only able to go thanks to a gift voucher and expected amazing service and quality for the price. We are regular cinema goers and attend an IMC cinema in Ballymena, an Omniplex in Antrim and Moviehouse Cinemas at Yorkgate on a very regular basis and get better service and snacks there every time. We expected much more in the way of service and food from a luxury cinema abs certainly wouldn’t pay out of pocket for the experience again.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The cinema room was spotless and comfortable, with a lovely sofa and footstools that made movie night feel extra relaxing. The food and drink service was excellent, the staff were extremely kind, and the ice-cold drinks were a real highlight. Overall, a very comfortable and luxury-centric evening.

Went on sat 22 Nov 25 to see Wicked for good.... Cinema clean n tidy, cosy and comfortable... Staff hardly spoke after initial arrival desk... We ordered several drinks inc the wicked promotional popcorn balloon and cocktails... the wickedly sour was a complete let down... so disappointed with it.. ( vodka/ medori/ lime and lemonade ). Couldn't taste any alcohol in it at all and it came flat as can be, no fizz no bubbles. To be honest it really tasted of lime cordial and water.. I sent it back as was not happy to only get a 2nd that was worse... when I asked the server, all I got was, that's the drink ok. I've given the 3 stars because after spending allot of money for a night out, I felt like I wasnt valued as a customer at all. Didn't add any photos.

Without doubt the most comfortable welcoming cinema I have ever been to. All the staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful. I went to screen 5, which was delightful. The chair tables, the foot stool (which is also a bag tidy) the individual cushions on the super comfy sofas, or individual chairs and the table lamps, not to mention the at seat service, went to make this a lovely experience. The sound quality and the picture were superb. I wish we had this in Newcastle UK!
