Lovely food though my girlfriend found the Spice challenge to be a bit underwhelming. Lovely drinks, nice ambience and professional staff.
Visiting Warhammer world (which was excellent!) and went to Bugmans after going through the exhibition halls. It was very busy as there was a tournament on but food was pretty fast. The food was very good and decent portion sizes too. We had a coffee after and would recommend that too!
The food is quite good as described from my group. The Fyreslayer challenge is a great idea however. For an affordable price you got a decent portion of chicken and if you finish the whole thing you will get a pin badge free of charge. Would recommend
Food did arrive quickly but it was all lukewarm at best, even then it seemed the heat of the plates was the only thing keeping it all somewhat warm. A shame as it did taste fairly good (also aside from the outer part of the Bao Buns that had hardened), but it's a bit of a pisstake paying £30 for it. Would not recommend.
I would strongly recommend going Bugman's. Good food, ale, and atmosphere! Love the new renovations. The place looks awesome! However, it would be better with a flight option for the themed ales, stronger ale options (Bugman's is supposed to be the strongest), and spicier wings for the slayer challenge (or a spicier tier with a better reward). I really liked the variety of options on the menu. I will always try a new take on chicken and waffles. It was quite innovative but definitely dry. It's worth saying that we went on 05/04/2025 the first day of reopening after renovations. So there are probably things that will get sorted out shortly after. We are from America so we don't get to enjoy this experience often but we can't wait to go again!
Came here a few years ago and whilst the place has a lovely aesthetic this time it was massively let down by the quality of the food, which is a shame because I had fond memories of the food being outstanding. I came here on my birthday and had the bugmans burger because it sounded great on paper however that was the only thing good about it. The burger was possibly one of the worst things I have ever eaten, it just tasted of low quality processed burger meat. The pulled pork was tasteless and the bbq sauce was runny and so hot it was like trying to eat napalm. For nearly £17 for a burger I expected much, MUCH higher quality. I only managed to stomach less than half the burger before asking for a refund. I have to say though the staff were lovely and helpful and processed my refund without a problem. Was just a bit disappointed and felt let down on my birthday.
Bugmans Grill, the brewpub attached to Warhammer World is an awesome and thematic attraction as much a part of any visit to Warhammer World as the store itself. The food is par to subpar in quality, though it is themed to the Warhammer universe, so it gets bonus points. The beer is fantastic though, and also gets theming bonus.
Great food and good atmosphere. Decent prices and generous portions. Only downside is that queuing to order and wait time for food can be very long if place is busy.
