   I attempted to return a Meta Quest 3S purchased less than 15 days ago because it was not working. The staff at St Clares Argos (inside Sainsbury’s) refused the return and told me it had to be sent to Meta for repair instead. After that, I contacted Meta Support directly, who confirmed - very clearly - that products can be returned to Argos within 30 days without any issue. So no, this wasn’t a “Meta problem”. For comparison, I went to Argos Hounslow, where the return was handled immediately, professionally, and without any drama. They even helped me upgrade to the next model by paying the difference: imagine that. At St Clares Argos, however, even the store manager (yes, I asked) either doesn’t know Argos’ own return policy or simply chooses not to follow it. Neither option inspires much confidence. Avoid this branch. Save yourself the frustration and drive a few extra minutes to a store where staff actually understand the rules and are willing to help customers.

   They are generally very good and useful with Argos items in a large Sainsbury's,though I don't know why they do or bother with eBay items,as most people wouldn't know they do, so if Argos don't want to do it,they shouldn't.

   I recommend avoiding this branch and visiting another Argos store instead. The customer service here is extremely poor and unhelpful. I purchased an item and tried to return it the very next day, but the manager, Allia, refused to process the return and abruptly stopped assisting me. I then went to the Hounslow branch, where they accepted the return without any issues. In fact, I ended up spending over £100 more there on a higher-quality product because of their excellent service. This location used to be one of the best for customer care, but unfortunately, it has gone downhill due to unprofessional management. A real disappointment..

   Really bad service. Six people waiting and only one person behind the desk dealing with one woman for 10 minutes. When finally my turn, I received different item and had to come back to exchange for the correct one.

   This Argos store is ok if buying from Argos,though I didn't know they were that bad with returns! I used to use it for eBay collections some time ago,did anyone know this?Though if it wasn't an eBay click and collect with and collection code they would not allow me to take it and had to make a call to eBay to get a code from seller,and put me to one side and hold me up and make me feel like a second class citizen,so I had a year ago found a better place to send non&click and collect items to as they don't treat me in in this rude officious way.Why bother doing eBay here if your staff don't like doing it and a guy who was in charge is obsessed with collection codes even though I showed him the eBay orders I placed! I never complained about certain staff there being unprofessional, uncooperative and officious to me regarding eBay collections without a collection code.I should have with Argos,though they make it difficult to complain as they don't have a complaints option in their phone.This doesn't bother me now as I found a place that I found a shop I can send all my eBay orders and non-ones ,if I do choose to even without these codes they need,and are far more friendly,helpful and non-officious.I only have to go there if ordering from Argos,I guess these staff members might have left or been sacked hopefully.

   Only been to this Argos a few times, but I've not had any issues. I've always ordered an item online and showed up to collect. Never really too busy here either so you don't have to wait very long.

   I frequently, although less so these days, use your petrol station. I think it must be a few years ago now that I noticed you never have paper towels or plastics gloves on the forecourt. Is this a conscious decision, or just an oversight? It's annoying to arrive at you next destination stinking of petrol

   Purchased a phone appropriate for an elderly person in Argos today. Moesha served me. She was the most brilliant person. Not only advising on the appropriate phone but also how to use the phone and even set it up. That goes beyond good CS! She deserves a pat on the back at the very least. I highly recommend Moesha for anything tech. It’s worth noting we ended up in Argos as Vodafone we’re less than helpful and rather dismissive. Theyre loss, I’ll be heading to St Clare Argos and Moesha for my next Smartphone.

   Visited Argos today, they only serve the white people and act like the rest are invisible until you start kicking off. This store is a disgrace and has a bad reputation which is well deserved. Certified racist store.

   What a joke. Ordered a mobile phone, had a conformation immediately that the phone is ready to collect. Went there next day- 30 minutes drive to the shop for me and then 40 minutes queuing up to collect my order. I collected the phone OK just to notice that I was handed different mobile phone. Another 30 minutes spend with the customer service to find out, that they do not have the phone I ordered. It means, that my order was handed to someone else, who ordered the phone handed to me. What a mess they have got in their warehouse and tried to lied to me, that they were sent a wrong mobile phone by the main warehouse. The mobile phone was not sent to them from any warehouse because it wouldn't be available for immediate pick up. Another 30 minutes drive back home. Money wasted on the fuel and my time wasted as well.
