Worst service today. Went to collect my order and showed the staff member my barcode. I did not realise I showed them part 2 of my order not part 1 as there system split the order. I explained that I have more items and the staff member replied with check your emails. All I could find at that point was the recent email and there was only one member of staff and a lot of customers waiting. I took the word of the employee and left. Soon as I got home I found the email for part 1 and it was ready to collect before the collection I just made. Wasted my time and journey had to take two trips, when they should be advising and checking for the full order and informing the customer. Rude employee and worst service, also same PIN code for part one of the order so they should know the has system split the order and there are more items to collect. And Last time I had to calculate my own refund for returning items As the manager on the day couldn’t work out the amount to refund ??

Extremely disappointed with my experience at Argos Pinner. I attempted to return an unused item—still sealed in its original packaging and well within the 30-day return period—but was refused service due to what staff described as a “technical glitch.” They claimed they couldn’t locate the transaction code in their system, even though the item was ordered online and paid for via Apple Pay using my bank card. Customer service over the phone confirmed I am absolutely entitled to a return, but the store staff were unwilling to help. Instead, I was told to “come back in a week” because the senior manager is on leave until next Saturday. This is completely unacceptable. It’s not the customer’s fault that there’s an internal system issue, nor should I have to wait for a manager to return from leave just to process a straightforward return. I expected better from a company as established as Argos. This experience has made me question shopping with them in the future. A simple return has turned into an unnecessary and frustrating ordeal.

The manager at this place named Homayun is the most disrespectful person I’ve ever met at an Argos store. I went to return Apple headphones which were within the 30 days and still SEALED in their original packaging but he refused and said I looked like someone who would try to return a fake item to scam Argos (I was wearing a long black Uniqlo jacket and tracksuit bottoms) I asked him what he meant by that and he started to rant and said HIS store return policy is different from the online and every other store return policy as he decides what HIS return policy is. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing so I left the shop. I tried to order a home collection through live chat because it was a home delivery items but apparently Argos doesn’t allow it for Apple products ( which is stated absolutely NOWHERE on their site) I then explained why I chose this route as the store manager I went to was incredibly rude and they told me to show them this chat which explained the return policy for Argos stores and that he can’t just decide when to honour it. Hesitantly I returned to the store hoping someone else would serve me but unfortunately Homayun was the only one there again but this time I was in my work uniform and when I approached he was MUCH nicer at the start. I guess this was because I was dressed better for his standards but the nice act was quickly dropped when I told him I was there to return headphones and he remembered who I was. To avoid having an argument with him I just showed him the chat log of the live chat I had with Argos and asked to just refund me so I could leave, he said he had to call the home delivery team to process it, while he was on the phone he said he would inspect the box now to make sure it was still sealed, but all of a sudden he said to the person on the phone he doesn’t think the box is sealed and then started to PULLING THE SECURITY SEAL ON THE BOX, I asked him what he was doing and immediately brought out my phone to record. He said the box wasn’t sealed and I was lying but when he saw my phone he immediately stopped and started started push the security tab down back into place and continued to talk with the person on the phone, when he finished on the phone he said I couldn’t record him, I told him until the item is returned it is still technically my property so I had to to document what he was doing with my property. I told him I only managed to capture him tampering with security seal and putting it back into place when he got caught but I would delete the video after he processed my return and he finally conceded and started to process the return. He did drag his heels and made sure to take as much time as possible but did do it in the end. I can see from other reviews that I’m not the first person to have to have the displeasure of speaking to this manager which surprises me as to how he’s still employed there. In any case I hope I never have to cross paths with Homayun again under any circumstances in any lifetime

Went into store this past Friday 14th to collect an item I had ordered for a valentines gift for my partner, an Apple Watch series 10. Arrived at the store at around 9am and waited about 10 minutes while the lady at the desk processed a return for a gentleman’s microwave, which she thoroughly inspected and took out of the box (keep this in mind) whilst a queue of people built up. Absolutely shocking that most of the time they only have one person working here at a time. I received my item and gave the gift to my partner at around 4:30 that afternoon, upon opening it he noticed that it was not in fact an Apple Watch in the box, but a rose chrome coloured fit bit! I returned to the store immediately, arriving at around 5pm and was met by a gentleman who claimed to be a manager. And I say claimed because the way he dealt with this was absolutely subpar. Obviously, I was very unhappy with the situation and the man working there at the time asked me if it was sealed when we opened it, to which I replied that yes it was. He then told me that because it’s sealed, there would be nothing he can do because that would be a manufacturer error but he will check if it had been returned. He ran the check and saw that it had been returned, so what was the point of giving me all that spiel about if it was sealed there was nothing they could do? They were able to give me my money back however they had no more Apple Watches in stock, I had to ask HIM where the nearest branch was that had it in stock and inconveniently go out of my way to get it. I am absolutely horrified that the store are selling fraudulent items and aren’t diligent enough to check returns thoroughly before reselling, as they are clearly supposed to do considering the lady in the morning spent about what felt like 100 hours checking a microwave. The man I dealt with had no empathy and struggled to understand my rightful emotions, I was offered nothing more than an “oops”, whether in his power or not this should’ve been escalated to satisfy me as a customer, all I asked for was a simple follow up explanation as to how this had happened. Instead of celebrating Valentine’s Day at our spa hotel, we had to deal with this situation and drive 40 minutes back to rectify this. I will be avoiding this store the next time I use Argos, absolute rubbish.

There is a young lady called Paris who works on the Argos counter. I ask, in fact I beg she gets the recognition she deserves for her role, as she is very helpful, fair and willing to go over and above to resolve matters and is exemplary in delivering real customer service. She is an asset to Argos and could teach other major retailers a lot about service delivery.

Well located store. Popped in to pick up a package that I'd ordered online. No problem with the delivery or package. The customer service however was another matter. I was served by two arrogant, dismissive, rude and aggressive Argos employees. They made a error and only gave me half my order when I challenged them they were rude and confrontational. Argos is a great service and having this store is brilliant but the customer service and experience is considerably lacking.
