The people working there were EXTREMELY RUDE. Me and my friends went to buy drinks along with some other things there. I was the one buying the alchohol and when I gave my ID (in Brazil we have paper ID. RG) They said "This is not valid, this is paper, give me a UK ID" and then asked ALL of my friends to provide ID, even tho I was the only one buying it. It took minutes of me arguing trying to explain that I am not from the country and couldn't provide a UK ID because I am not from the UK until they finally allowed me to buy what I wanted after me and my friends demanded to see a supervisor Both the manager and the man at the conter were EXTREMELY rude. Not accepting an ID because its not a national one is DISCRIMINATION and these men need to learn how to treat customers.

We went to this supermarket as a group of four to buy some alcohol, but only one of us was actually making the purchase. The staff asked all four of us for ID, even though only one person was buying. The buyer showed her valid Brazilian ID, but the staff were very rude and claimed it wasn’t acceptable. (One of them, I’m assuming was the manager didn’t even look at it properly before saying it was invalid). They refused to sell us the alcohol. We asked to speak with the supervisor, and only then were we allowed to complete the purchase. The whole experience was unacceptable and felt discriminatory. Customers should be treated with respect, regardless of where they’re from or what ID they have.

It's okay if you use the self-checkout. Decided to pay with cash one time and the female staff member working the till was insanely rude and passive-aggressive.

Not well managed. Unhelpful staff can’t be bothered to do their job properly. Prices not up to date.

Always close 15 minutes early but also honours the ticket item price. Mixed feelings.

Whilst ordering from Deliveroo - I only received one item from a list of items. Coop failed to communicate that they ran out of the other items and delivered a single bottle of cider - which cost me £7.23 (cost of the bottle is £3.15 from their store). Do not bother using this place to order from

Went to put cash onto my card, only to get home and realise the cashier didn’t give me back my card. Only the receipt, to make it worse I still bought something after. I had a long day so I didn’t notice at the time but seriously annoyed as I can’t come down again to question them.
