The opening times on Google seem to be incorrect. I visited today (Monday) and was asked to leave at 7pm, even though Google showed that the store was open later (7:30pm). I’d suggest updating the opening hours to avoid any confusion for other customers!
It is one of the best stores for great competitive and discounted prices. Very broad selection of products available for buyers. Superb public transport links.
I’m very disappointed for security guy behaviour! Around 6 o’clock 26 April I just get in the shop, Where people paying the way I get in ,that time he shouting me to go other way even he push my body, I tell him to say please I will listen but he didn’t tell please, even he is very rude that time, l let one staff he apologies for security guy behaviour, I should get ask for management, why he try to fight,
I've visited many times to the Poundland at 55-63 Powis St, London SE18 6HZ, and it's always a convenient place for affordable shopping. The store has a wide range of products, from household essentials to seasonal items, all at reasonable prices. The staff are generally helpful. The layout makes it easy to find what you need. However, during peak hours, it can get a bit crowded, and the queues at the checkout can be long. Overall, it's a great spot for budget-friendly shopping in the area.
Favorite go to store as it offers everything that you need. Super cheap and have lots of choices when it comes to chocolates, chips and cleaning stuffs.
Poundland is no longer poundland. I went in there to buy some Salad cream and they were charging £2.50 for a 300ml bottle and £3.00 for a 570ml bottle??
Just the every day place to visit for you must come home with an article. You find a little if everything at affordable prices. I love shopping there.
There's a lot to like, low prices & friendly staff. There is 1 issue I have at all their stores, and it's the jumbo kitchen paper towels, sometimes they are decent quality, other times they're like cheap toilet paper, they disintegrate on contact with water. They really need to reduce the price & label the poor quality stuff, some people might be OK with it, for me they are not fit for purpose (in the kitchen) & I always feel cheated when I get the low quality stuff in the same packaging as the regular good stuff.
Had some really nice clothing for children, good prices, really went for Christmas bit's, got amost everything I needed, I would go back, hate the self service till, I had to call for help with almost every scan, and I didn't get paid for the work
This is a good size store and sells pretty much everything. The only downside is how poor the building and fittings have been looked after. I always think it's a shame how the marble Marks & Spencer sign alludes to a better time for that high Street
